As if this doesn't happen in China...in their new modern state of the art 21st Century subway systems vs New York's 120+ year old ones dug out by hand?

WTF? How did this design flaw get passed modern engineers?

And we've had some crazy rain around here and the northeast US in general for the last two weeks alone. Then yesterday was just continuous rain from Elsa non-stop that dropped who knows how many inches. But with all the moisture already in the ground, yesterday's constant rain just exacerbated the situation even more. My sump pumps are running constantly for the last 2 days.

Same here. My backyard is a lake due to the pump.
BTW I can't help but call this one of the best inventions ever. I bought a second one. I strongly suggest you buy one.

The USA has many failing systems like roads, water supply, rail lines, schools, FDA etc.. I hope they focus on their localities more than on foreign endeavours.

UK has best as far as tap quality water and roads infrastructures are concerned. The rail transport is very modern too. I hope the US can maintain its crippling system.

You might notice the water draining into the grates instead of building up as a flood inside the station.

I heard Bliwal is visiting US, he should disclose his wisdom about Barish and Pani to people of NY.

I am surprised that water finds a way to get to NY subway, I mean from the looks of NY traffic when its jammed, not even water can pass haha
