Without knowing him you can't make an opinion based on his experience. What makes you think he supports the PKK or the rebellion in the southeast? He's from northern Iraq and his city has been devastated by ISIL of whom he hates.


Makes sense and I completely understand as I have visited Istanbul and it is a huge diverse metropolis. Protectting any large city is a must and there is great admiration for the police department how they and the mass civilian population were able to quickly resolve the coup attempt by rebels. Turkey has strong civilian services.

Turkish people are very up-to-date with politics. Politics and following the news is a part of every Turkish citizen no matter gender. And you have to know Turkish people are probably the most fearless and proud people in the world. I, myself was present on the night of 15th July in Turkey, we stood watch the entire night-till dawn.

All due respect, this is one issue I wont tolerate. Based on his statement of "Istanbul Police making etnic discrimination" is pure BS.

The same security personnel are doing their very best to evacuate Kurdish civilians from conflict zones, I myself took part in it probably a dozen of times. We have lost many in the aim of evacuating Kurdish civilians.

Minorities won't hesitate being affiliated with strong emotions. I myself during my vacation this year got checked up in Bodrum, Turkey. And you can only expect more check-ups in Istanbul.

I think possibly he feel like a victim, that's how minorities typically feel - but it's just a protocol.

I think you guys misunderstand each other.

I've trained with an ex Istanbul police officer in martial arts. Very good and professional person. I feel this is another venture both Pakistan and Turkey to indulge by sharing its law enforcement experiences with eachother. It's already happening with the establishment of the Dolphon Force in Lahore and previous police commando training.

I have seen all of these places in addition Mahodand, Naltar lakes, Rama / Astor, Shangrila, Kalam, Malam Jabba, Thandiani and Galiyat, Karimabad, Eagle's nest, and Deosai and more but we were just boys...and we had a lot of energy to face any problems...PTDC motels were really good options especially due to their excellent locations, reasonable price and good facilities and standards.

@Kaniska I was talking about the infrastructure and development of our Northern Area. I visited Muzafarabad, AJK last year in April. Some of the roads were really dangerous

Which route did you take? What is your criteria of a dangerous road? You ride highways virtually all the way from Islamabad to Muzafarabad now.

and I have seen some videos of further up in the northern area. Since no proper roads are constructed, its very difficult for a family to go together.

Proper roads are a plenty for pretty much everywhere that you know of up north. You cannot expect anything like the M2 to be built ever there, the topography does not allow it. Families are perfectly fine travelling on the existing roads all the way to Khunjarab.

Lahore isn't green lol but excellent food though.

Then you haven't seen cities which aren't green.

You can't set the old city as the standard image of Lahore any more,
