We already have connectivity to North-East via Siliguri corridor. Just having a wider corridor would do us not much good.

I would advocate annexing South-East part, if we have to annex anything. Anyway we should have got Chittagong Hill Tract in 1947 , because that area was and is Buddhist. It was granted to Pakistan because Britishers wanted to have some buffer area for Chittagong city which was granted to Pakistan.

Annexing South-East part would provide us with Sea-connectivity to North-East.

In Bangladesh , there are two types of atheists. There are atheists who respect all the religions , take part in eid and puja etc. When asked they explain science , evolution as their cause of being atheist. This group is well respected and safe even if they are ex muslims.

and then there is another group- who likes to make fun and hurt religious people by insulting and hurting where it hurts most in blogs and fb,an0nymously .

Bangladesh is religious to the core. We are not communal, but Muhammad is next to God , every muslim in bangladesh respects him more than their parents.

So when you post a story like Muhammad invented sijdah from gay doggy orgy ( naujubillah ) , then chances are out of 140 million muslims, some wont ignore it.

I have no problem if the entire thing is dealt legally as it was in the case of Shami witness but here in this case religious extremists are doing whatever they what to do without facing any serious consequence.
