Third flag meeting fails, Ladakh incursion row set to escalate

You don't have the GUTS to support them openly.

It's chinese soil because you put up a banner that says 'welcome to china'?

It is Chinese soil because we have not crossed the LAC.

So if any Chinese troops are killed there, on Chinese soil, that is pretty much an immediate declaration of war.

.
so u want us to start shooting because 30 soldiers have camped in an area that is not clearly defined? is this real life or half life. Also, india does not import planes, tanks and ships. they are all made in the country. what is imported are the critical parts. but still i am sure they can trash soviet copy hardware

Now, you are back peddling. Its time for India to show that it has balls. India talk too much. But its time to walk the walk. Instead of coming up with excuses like your post above.

As for India making its planes and tanks, Indian military is not using its own domestic build ones. It prefer imports.

.
The war is coming..... it's time for Pakistan to
mobilize to take back IOK and roll the Indians
back to Haryana.
honestly i loved this part... what a wet dream you guys have... china is forgetting that we are not alone... we wont fight alone...

Well, people has more respect for India in 1962 when they were defeated than India today. At least they tried to fight in 1962. Now, they are coming up with excuses to back down.

1. "Time to walk the talk". I am curious, when did india ever "talk" that it will start killing anyone who goes near its perceived border line.
2. India builds foreign designed planes(su30mki, Migs) & tanks(t90s) in its own soil. china does the same thing without paying royalty.

I know the situation mon ami but inde government could lodge an official complaint through the UN and in extension the security council and may be that might look bad on the chinois on the international stage and long term effects could be some protest from different countries if inde wins the diplomatic battle! However my question is with the new premier, will international complaint through UN have any affect on chinois governments stance on this situation? I mean our government in the past has complained on human rights record of countries and have received huge applause and support from international NGOs and countries supporting our stance!

I'm waiting for India to shoot at Chinese troops. If not, there is no need for India to import any more planes, tanks for ships. Why buy them just for exercises and parades. Are Indians scared of facing China? How can it be regarded as the next super power if it does not respond to another country putting troops in their territory.

That exactly sums why the chinese are confounded..and even more scared now.

Have full capability to blast them out . whenever you please. Then, we don't even need to mobilise even a single soldier.

It was, perhaps, known to both India and china prior to all this as well.. but now its out in the open. Indian conventional defence capabilites have injected fear into pla. While India is exhibiting confidence, chinese panic has only now come out in the open.

From a big view perspective, I think it is a desirable outcome.

Negotiations can proceed ahead, only when both sides come to a realisation that there is NO solution by using force. China didn't agree with this fully ... even the 1962 attempt at it and failure to solve anything, didn't teach them anything. But the sooner they learn, the better it is.

Indian govt response has been very measured and mature. China's actions remind of pakistanish mode of working. And it won't be flattering for china, if its compared to pakistan. Hope it grows up to a level of maturity higher than pakistan's. (othwerwise, HongWu-ites will easily lead it into total annihilation of PRC, just like what hitler did to germany).

the indian border gaurds were forced to fight in 62 despite having WWI equipment with no ammunition because they had no choice. it was raining chinese everywhere.

We have veto power in the Security Council.

We vetoed the Syria resolution even though we are not directly involved. If India tries to raise a resolution over the Sino-Indian border you can be sure that we will veto that since it actually involves us.

.
I hope that warmongers on both sides realize that its the soldiers who do the fighting & its the soldiers who do the dying - The rest of us would be sitting in our homes eating take-away & browsing PDF whilst dead Chinese & Indian sons of the soils would be servicing our fantasies !

I hope that some sort of non-violent solution to the problem is achieved !

Great Post !!!

Oh I forgot about the veto power and at the end of the day 'Power is absolute' nonetheless.

It's unlikely that India or China is going to take this to Security Council... Bilateral mechanisms already in place are the way forward.

China would look utterly stupid, if it takes this to UNSC.

So, would India.

India send troops into territories it does not even claimed in 1962. That is what caused war. They had a choice and they choose to back up their talk with a fight. Unlike today's Indians, who has no stomach for a real fight.

Totally Agree with whatever you wrote mate!

But, just tell me, what will you do if tomorrow Indian troops enter Pak Occupied Kashmir (Its disputed too) than will you ask for flag meetings with Indian Army or directly send PA to push Indian troops back to current status-quo positions ?

Our Leaders lack balls!

read my earlier comment
india today is like a chicken trapped in a lion's body.
The army is willing and able but the politicians are scared. the exact opposite of 1962(a lion trapped in a chickens body)
