Things to do before condeming Musharraf

Agreed! Let us start accountability from 1947 and not 2009 like being proposed by NS and his cohorts!

Why not start accountability from 2009 and back to 1947, that way we will live to see it happen.

It is not a question of accountability and where to satart it from. The supreme court has been moved in the case of musharraf because its own integrity has been challanged. it has happened before, in Justice Sajjad Ali Shah,s time however i nothing was done about it. Instead of beating about the bush of what should be done first or last, let us first question whether the claim against Musharraf has merit in a court of law or not.
once you have done so, then you will start acting on the laws he has passed, namely NRO. Once this is repealed , the perpetrators of crimes who got a reprieve thanks to musharraf will also come under the examination.
You have to give a process a time before you start condemning the thing. One of the greatest misfortunes of pakistan has been that it has always relied on personalities rather than on building institutions. This has resulted in the Army ; the strongest institution of the country interfering in the affairs of the country repeatedly. It has at the end of the day been to the detriment of Pakistan. Let us establish institutions and the instution of independant judiciary is the best one in my view.

Merit Araz, Musharraf was acting President that alone will serve him a severe punishment, he took the army oath to not involve himself in politics. It is damning that he was heavily involved in politics. He is crook a traitor who took away our liberty, he was appointed COAS and used it for his own political gains.

As for merit we have laws in this country and Musharraf broke them.

let there be accountability accross the board. Military dictators, politicians, maliks, waderas, sardars, chaudhris etc etc. But first an impartial jury & judge.
They will find the sins of politicians outweigh the sins of military dictators, in spite of having Zia, the devil incarnate in their lot.

No need for development of Pakistan what about the pressing matters, we should all sink in the same boat of revenge, political witch hunting. Musharraf is finished along with his cronies, Pakistanis have learn't how to take matter upon them selfs the next opportunist will have dire consequences. Thanks but no thanks no one want to follow this road of self destruction.

Musharraf will be made example that is final will it be in the coming months or years, you dont need to start from the first dictator to the last of them, one will be suffice to set the bar.

People have nostalgic memories of the good days under Ayub & Mush, albeit few years. Does any politician's reign evoke such memories for even a short span of time???

Generalize the entire nation with your view. excellent.

ZAB's reign was full of vindictive economic policies, which ruined all sectors of the economy- Banking & Finance, Industrial, Insurance, Education, agriculture etc etc. He was very selfish and an egomaniac.

His vindictive economic policies built dams, tidal barrage, Heavy Tank industry, Mirage rebuild factory, Kamra aeronautical, nuclear power later on nuclear bomb, first pakistan steel mills, first Pakistani sea port, china Pakistan friendship, France Pakistan friendship, he partly founded OIC and became first president of it, he made the Kashmir resistance and every year we celebrate 6th Feb, he formed the foundations of our constitution, he made a policy to build dams across Pakistan that is still revered today, his government was the first to give free education up to University, he freed some 90 thousand soldiers with civilians, he added another 3 divisions of Pakistan Army soldiers (No one has been ever able to this after him) ....the list is long.... You wanna compare this!

BB's & NS 2 reigns were full of loot & plunder, bankruptcy of the country with stupidity personified in NS.
Ejaz ul Haq was a middle level officer in Bank of America in Bahrain. The Shariff family were owners of a small steel re-rolling mill.
The evil political-Military nexus of NS & Zia has made the Shariff family

You live in denial, BB defended every case in court so did Zardari, Zardari even spent 8 years in jail with no convictions, why didn't Musharraf punish him along with the others? NAB was made so that he could strike politician down with those crazed fabricated lies, millions of rupees of the tax payer vanished into lawyers and fabricators no conviction no one jailed. What a waste of money. Are you proud now that we have tell you the same story, no one was convicted.

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and MQM today jointly pi$$ed on PML (N) vengeance spree against Musharraf. Unfortunately NS has to now wait until such time he becomes the President of Pakistan (could be a really long time)! to get his vengence! Too bad Mian G, go back to your Gongluu Chawal! And Lord Nazir Sb, sorry for your wasted trips to Pakistan on British taxpayers money!

End of Story!
