But for the record, Britain's enemies in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria include the Taliban scum in Afghanistan. ISIS scum in Iraq and Syria. I have no qualms in fighting against terrorist scum. Plus, the Taliban martyred my relatives in Pakistan Army. I am not a psychopath but where I come from we don't forgive murder unless the other side shows reformation.

The Harpoon is going to be phased out by 2018, and the Sea Venom at this point in time will not equip ships till the end of 2019.

The MOD has a window of two years. However if war broke out then the the use of Harpoons will be extended past their phase out date.
Also don't forget the submarine arm can also handle anti-ship operations.

NATO covertly supported the khawarij ISIS until Russia outed them.

So would you gone to fight in Syria when NATO wanted to oust Assad? Would you have gone to Iraq to overthrow Saddam? What about Libya? Would you have bombed Gaddafi?

The Afghan Taliban are fighting against an invasion of their country; the TTP are foreign succoured Khawarij who are fighting against Pakistan. The deceptive enemy wishes us to be confused and (mis)label a legitimate resistance against occupiers and collaborators with the terrorism we see in Pakistan. This is not to say that there are not terrorist groups in Afghanistan.
