So? USA will make the investments as and when needed for its energy needs, just like China is doing now. What is the issue here?
But when? why are you always avoiding one simple question? when was the last time US successfuly brought a whole supply chain back home? US has been calling this slogan at least since the 1980's against Japan.

But why would USA need everything within its borders, when globalization is far better at delivering the needed inputs? Let the world participate in providing whatever is needed. That is how the system works, not by central communist planning.

But you argued earlier US is trying to bring the supply chain home, now you are arguing against yourself, lol.,.

No, you wanted an example of that. I merely said that USA can do what it needs to do as the needs arise. A different matter, entirely.

So is this just a troll or you really mean it? if you really mean it, who's gonna pay for this "easy" money?

No trolling. Money is easy. It is the rest of the process that is actually important.

But why the article sounds it's hard? and did US ever successfully bring a supply chain back home before?

Because the article is designed to sell its wares to the gullible. Think about that for a minute.

inspite of all the doomsayers predictions, US is still strong, and will get it done. money can be printed anytime.

Really, so US can build this supply chain home and you're gonna pay for it? do you believe it yourself honestly?

Well, the article is trying to convince me to invest in certain companies that will likely benefit from the new US investments, so that I can give them their commissions for helping me make more money. What a great system! :D

The part about investing in creating new energy supply chains according to US needs. That part.
Are you dumd or something, you can't just print money and then expect industries to come back, it's much more than that. And don't forget just because you invest in capacity, doesn't mean China is reducing theirs. We are still the largest RE market on earth.

And just because China has the capacity does not mean that USA cannot invest in developing its own capacity. See how that works? :D
