There are only 55 billionaires in India

I suggest if you can’t read go get your eyes checked and get glasses or please educate yourself. The threads topic is about billionaires in India not poverty in India. It’s your fellow countryman that brought India to the picture, discussing poverty because he could not stand the *** burning that there is not any scope of Pakistanis to become billionaires. uneducated Pakistanis never fails to amaze me. :disagree:QUOTE]

Im probably more educated than some random indian troll with a dude with an axe in his hands,.... so spare me the BS.

As for billionaires.. well i can count a few and a much bigger middle class in Pakistan and much less poverty rate.
Good for you mate, I sincerely hope that Pakistan can proposer and so can its people. Your replies show a distinctive characteristic of the infamous DENINAL gene that is inherent in all Pakistanis. India is doing very well and there is ample proof out there am not going to show petty links substantiating it. Poverty is a problem that all countries including the US are dealing with. India is also on track to lift as much of its population out don’t worry we will handle the problem ourselfs, nothing for you Pakistanis to worry about other than taking cheap shots at us is all your good at. Have a look at the international affairs of your country and how it’s pathetic and problematic for everyone on this planet rather than spewing anti-india hate. How old are you by the way comparing images on avatars lol, are you questioning my sanity? What’s your representing a special ops sniper ready to take down any moron that posts a reply to your lectures?

Poverty in Pakistan

Poverty in Pakistan is a continued source of concern.[citation needed] Although the middle-class has grown in Pakistan to 40 million(Account Suspended)[1] nearly one-quarter of the population is classified poor as of October 2006.[2] As of 2007-08, 17.2% of the total population lived below the poverty line, which is the lowest figure in the history of Pakistan.[3] The declining trend in poverty as seen in the country during the 1970s and 1980s was reversed in the 1990s by poor federal policies and rampant corruption.[4] This phenomenon has been referred to as the poverty bomb.[5] government of Pakistan with help from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has prepared an Interim Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper[6] that suggests guidelines to reduce poverty in the country.

As of 2009, Pakistan's Human Development Index (HDI) is 0.572, higher than that of nearby Bangladesh's 0.543, which was formerly a part of the country itself. Pakistan's HDI still stands lower than that of neighbouring India's at 0.612.[7]

Incidences of poverty in Pakistan rose from 22–26% in the fiscal year 1991 to 32–35% in the fiscal year 1999. They have subsequently fallen to 25–26% according to the reports of the World Bank and the UN Development Program reports. These reports contradict the claims made by the Government of Pakistan that the poverty rates are only 23.1%.[2] Furthermore, the poverty rate declined to 17.2% in 2007-08 according to the World Bank.[8]

According to the Human Development Index (HDI), 60.3% of Pakistan's population lives on under $2 a day, compared to 75.6% in nearby India and 81.3% in nearby Bangladesh,[9] and some 22.6% live under $1 a day, compared to 41.6% in India and 49.6% in Bangladesh[10]

Wealth distribution in Pakistan is highly uneven, with 10% of the population earning 27.6% of income[11] According to the United Nations Human Development Report, Pakistan's human development indicators, especially those for women, fall significantly below those of countries with comparable levels of per-capita income. Pakistan also has a higher infant mortality rate (88 per 1000) than the South Asian average (83 per 1000).[12]

I GUESS Pakistan is no better, so you don’t have a right to say that there is a deep division in the distribution of wealth in India, cause it about the same in your country. Look at yourself in the mirror before commenting on other’s appearances. So what at least we have billionaires in our country and prosperity exists same can’t be said about Pakistan can they? Grow up instead of acting like a frig gin child. :disagree:

Was your reply a copy and paste edit of the other Pakistani members that have commented here on this thread as well? Have you not thought of any new rants so much so you have to copy that as well? So much for creativity

Can’t speak on behalf of the Chinese government, but from what I know is that we live in a democracy which is rampant with corruption. This is the biggest drag beneath our wings when we try to take off, whereas china is a communist regime ruling the citizens with an iron fist one sane thing Chinese leaders have regardless is the notion to develop infrastructure and provide basics for the population which is of benefit but the tradeoff is their freedom to some extent. We are where china was 10 years ago but following a democratic principal. There are many reforms that need to be made in Indian politics once that is done I hope that we can pull many more millions out of poverty that what we are currently doing. No system is perfect.

how many times those d1mwit can get the idea they know next to 0 about China```you only making you sound stupid put comment about China. and also interpretate your own incompetence over one word 'democracy' again and again, simple..the fact is India has nothing to do with freedom and democracy. civilians exposure of officials scandles and corruptions and lead to inprisonment is a common norm in China thesedays, will it ever happend in India? nope, you simply got vanished if you do so (I've been told by many Indians while in India) thats why 90% of your officials have ciminal record.

the reason for taking longer time to make a decision in india has very few to do with 'democratic' process, but different interests groups want to maximise their own profit + your own loud mouth and lazy nature`

in terms of rubbish propaganda of india pulling millions out of poverty but the fact is due to your slow unhealthy growth combined with rapid growth of population india is actually adding more starving people then pulling out

In GDP you are where China was 10 years ago, but in technology, maybe where China was 20 years ago, and in living standards like average lifespan, education and average calorie intake, you're where China was in the 70's.

The thread starter haven't read the news posted by him.

Boosted by an economy that’s growing at 8.6% and a stock market that, despite a recent fall, is up 10% since last year, the nation reported a record 55 billionaires, half a dozen more than it had in 2010. The combined fortune of India’s wealthiest citizens is $246.5 billion, a good notch above last year’s collective total of $222.1 billion.

Among the top 10 of the world’s wealthiest are 2 Indians and no prizes for guessing who they are.

That means the number of billionaires in India have grown 10% this year despite the recession and tough conditions. :woot: :woot:

And Africa have 14 only billionaires not 600 billionaires as said by thread starter.
