The Worst day in Human History.

Both of this "If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one" and "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds" are verses from the Hindu holy book, the Bhagavad Gita .

Interesting that Robert Oppenheimer quoted the Hindu Holy book, he was a Jew.

At least the two bombs saved more than 2million people, in the war Iwo Jima and Okinawa, at least 100000died, and Japan cry for 100million Japanese fighting on street, two bombs end the WII, pls see the battle of Iwo Jima and Okinawa two islands, you will know why US used NuKE bomb on japan。

Battle of Iwo Jima - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
22,000 Japanese soldiers on Iwo Jima at the beginning of the battle, only 216 were taken prisoner, some of whom were captured because they had been knocked unconscious or otherwise disabled.
US loses 26000 in which 6821 was killed, and total 70000 took part in the war from US, 3.5 times more than Japan but loses equal.

Battle of Okinawa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Japanese human losses were enormous: 107,539 soldiers killed and 23,764 sealed in caves or buried by the Japanese themselves; 10,755 captured or surrendered.
U.S. losses were over 62,000 casualties of whom over 12,500 were killed or missing.

That's why US put nuke bomb on Japan, this saved millions US and Japan people since Japan Military call for 100million Japanese ready for lose and fighting on Japan street.

oh my, then they surely are the most deadliest, the most barbarians and most uncivilized people on planet earth, may God save the world and humanity from them !

Isn't Pakistan ready to Nuke India at first chance if war breaks out?

And you would be cheerleading that development.

Educate yourself and understand the precursors of dropping the Atomic Bomb on Japan.

If the Atomic Bombs were not dropped on Japan, then the Invasion of Japan would have been necessary and a 2 year conquest of Japan would have cost the lives of 10 million Japanese and 1 Million Ameircan Soldiers.

Just before, defeating the Japanese at Okinawa cost the lives of 200,000 Japanese and 12,000 American Soldiers.

The lesser of 2 evils as harsh as it sounds.
Quite sure there have been many worse days.
Indeed the bomb effectively ended the worst war ever, against a very cruel nation. I am quite sure many people celebrated.

This video will provide some interesting insight in to the circumstances behind the bombing of Hiroshima & Nagasaki.

It's much better to collect as many facts as possible before demonizing one side, or making the opponent out to be an innocent angel.

Below are some quotes from the interview:

The Japanese you know today are not the Japanese we fought in World War II!

If we had had to invade Japan, the Japanese casualties would have been much, much, much, much higher……..

Interviewer: If World War 3 broke out today, God forbid, & you were given the same order, if you were & they said; go drop an atomic bomb on whatever city, would you do it again?

Theodore Van Kirk: If everything was exactly the same as it was then, that’s the point. I know it’s not possible to really duplicate things that precisely, but if the same situation existed again, exactly as it had back in 1945, yes I would go on it. I would volunteer for it as a matter of fact, I would want to go on it.

Lesser terrorists than the one Taliban Khan has been supporting and just was either complicit in helping break out of jail or just plain incompetent
