The world's 10 best airlines for food

The thought of airplane food conjures up thoughts of unappetizing rubbery chicken and shrink-wrapped, something-salad sandwiches.

However, with menus designed by world-renowned chefs, these 10 airlines take fine dining to another level. In a recent survey, Travel + Leisure invited their readers to rank their favourite airlines on the quality of their in-flight food service. You won’t be looking at airline food the same way again. Here are the results:

Why focus on business and first class only?

All economy food is nothing more than bearable. Hardly worth the 5-star charges airlines apply on the ticket for those meals.
