Necessary works are ongoing at the Asfat Pendik shipyard for Pakistan Navy's ADA-class corvettes . I don't have a full knowledge of the subject, but i think Hulusi Akar draws attention of the block construction is about to begin. But the Pakistani sources wrote that delivery would begin in 2024. It's confusing.

They have just laid the keel, it will take a two years to complete the hull, then sea trials and weapons integration .. etc etc
It is already the end of 2018x

It is possible that they may complete it ahead of schedule

sir any Idea which Air defense we will be seeing on ADA ? i doubt US will release RAM ..

. .
We were working on a local Turkish AD system but it may be delivered without one but with space for it.

Could be Hisar , if not PN can look for Fl-3000 from China

are these 4 ADA corvettes?

yes , Basic Design ADA class corvette.. they have very modern and stealth Design, and Good ASW capabilities .

There was a canceled deal with Saudi Arabia , which was deteriorating at the last moment. Within the offer of this sale, a guarantee was made that the first vessel will launch in the 9th month.

Therefore, with the existing installed capacity of the Pendik shipyard, the construction of the hull will not last very long. Because all the engineering is completed and ready for mass production. If the construction of the blocks will begin in 2019, 2024 may be start of acceptences, not the delivery date.

Once the Ada and 054A come, I think the F-22P will stick out like a sore thumb. It's neither as good as the other two, but it requiring as many people to run it as the 054A (and a lot of diesel, though maybe not as much). The 2020s will be key, if the PN doesn't opt to update the F-22Ps next decade then that should tell us a lot about that ship's future come 2030s.

With the experience gained from the two corvettes built at home,im sure you will design the next gen to replace the F-22s or at least update them to required level.

F-22's are not going anywhere until 2035 .. if rumors are to be believed they will get some upgrades , most likely from Turkey or China . I would want to see 2+ ADA and type 54's , increasing their total numbers to 6 each ship .

The necessary infrastructure for the construction of MILGEM will be established in Karachi. On the other hand, dependence on 3rd countries will be minimized in ammunition and navionic areas including , all main mast, VLS and integrated air defense solutions etc., after 2025. So, the Pakistan Navy could think to larger MILGEM hulls in the future , according to its unique requirements.

Bro, Pakistan and Turkey cooperate on Naval technologies much more than any other sector. The Milgem, Agosta class submarine upgrade and fleet tanker programs are the references of strong ties. Instead of walking on difficult roads alone, Partnership in order to oversome the difficulties side by side will always be benefical for all sides so I believe Pakistan and Turkey will crown this cooperation with taking a further step to make an extensive cooperation over Tf-2000 destroyers, its vertical launchers, interceptor missiles and radar complex...
