After her leaving even bombing Taiwan to ashes won't make slightest difference but only makes a hero of USA and American puppets in Taiwan. History has taught us, when you choose peace with them like the case with JCPOA, they come closer to inflict their desired damage, when you talk to them with strong punches, they retreat and look for puppets and allies for help.

What do you want china to do regarding pelosis visit ? Seriously, stop her plane on the way to taiwan ? She is in international airspace, try to intercept her government plane and force it go away from taiwan, then its a serious provocation to us and violation of international laws on china part and the action could end in serious collision and tragedy for the planes involved. In that case, china will have to be prepared to go to war with us. When her plane was in taiwanese airspace, thereotically, chinese airforce could intercept and chase her plane out and away since the airspace is chinese as china claims, but, then taiwanese air force has the full control of taiwanese airspace, unless china first go to war with taiwan and take over control of taiwanese airspace , then, this action of chasing her plane away is possible, but, its unrealistic for the time being.

So, you like some chinese netizens at the time want chinese air force to shoot her plane down ? That would be foolish on china part.

You cannot have "good military" without a vibrant economy and creative environment for innovation. Look at what Juche ideology has done to North Korea, because that's where Xi is headed. Soviet Union had a powerful military, and how did that go? Funny enough, majority of the advancement in military technology were started by Hu and Jiang.

Xi is ruining the foundation of a stable political structure, suppressing thoughts and mismanaging the economy with his zero COVID policy. Being in power for 10 years is more than enough for any leader.
