The US Cooperates With Russia in Space. Why Not China?

Because India wants to be. Does China want to be on US Board? Cooperation is a two way street. Chinese believe they are self sufficient in their space program (they probably are) and for US China has been an enigma historically, hence the lack of cooperation. That's not to say that China is insular. Not at all. They just want cooperation to happen on their terms (like the Airbus manufacturing and now Tesla discussions).

Like I said earlier, my theory is a shot in the dark. I have no first hand experience of foreign policy.

China don't need now. It's more of US wants China than China wants US. We have our own space station. Having access to ISS or not, it's not that important.

US tactic is always to ban a technology to China. After China become self-sufficient in that technology, US allows to export that technology to China again to win market share to damage local Chinese companies.

You do realise japan is arguably the best after Russia and they cooperates in space research very closely with NASA. The race issue is just your feels. The real reason can be, pre2000 China was still laging behind in Space research and by that time alliances were already made and countries moved forward with the cooperation. China simply came late to the party and who still is seen with notoriety for blatant disregard for intellectual property rights. It still doesn't proves anything. There are plenty of countries that do counterfeit too. These are small level citizen matters. If China is really all about counterfeit, tell me why iphone and luxurious item got so much sale in China? Maybe apple run a fake sales report about China to delude themselves?

But if the leader at top is dishonest and talk lies only. What can you expect from level at bottom?

These people at top are given immerse power and need to be responsible and honorable to serve the nation. But they didnt , all they do is shirk responsible and play the blame game by telling lies. How u expect to teach your children If you are an American citizen being question about honesty by your child when he claim even the so called highest authority as President can lied? Ignore the President? How to answer for the country and democracy system u brag as the perfect one?
