Ours is in top 10 in the world as a% of GDP. And its even slightly more than 4 %. Just because you like to lick jarnails boots doesnt mean the rest of the nation has to sit and watch these incompetent generals.

You are using dollar terms. Does govt pay pension and salary in dollar or rupee? Plus most of Pakistani equipments are locally made.

I checked last year's budget, so I stand corrected. But even with such significant provincial budgets for education, the education in Pakistan is a sad state of affairs.

Indian GDP in 2019 is $2.9 trillion. Which is why, if you use the SIPRI database, India's military expenditure is 2.4% and Pakistan's is 4.0%

A common man spend 20-25 lacs on his/her kids education to become Doctor, Engineer, Teacher. After completion he earns 20-25K in start, which is same as first year cadet in PMA. Do you see the problem? I’ve met a freelance lady, she’s teacher in private school she told me she earns 10k Rs a month.

Moreover, Our defense budget is not being used to buy weapons, its being used to enjoy luxurious lifestyle. Can you imagine how much money we can save to buy stuff, if we call back, all the buttmans, drivers, chefs and other helping stuff to active duty instead of being servants. Soldiers are dying i want all the toyota daalllas to be replaced with MRAP’s, but we have to cut the luxurious spendings.
