This question does not make any sense.. Army is for braves, those who are afraid of death must sit home. Army is not an option for cowards..

obiusly it's dangerous but the danger level varies according to their various posts

You can be sent to FATA to fight with taliban, so yes its dangerous.

Yes it is dangerous.

You eat Dal roti from the 'langar'. Sleep on a charpayee in the field, and occasionally get no sleep at all. And alot of other stuff.

But it is still a very good life to have, the feeling of a family relationship with all the jawans and officers alike.

If you're on an easy post and afraid of death, you're nothing but a leech on the economy. But if you willingly go to a dangerous post then you are a hero.

Put the uniform, you will feel it.
I have seen one of my friend who was very clumsy, dull but was intelligent, today I cant not think that he is the same guy.
Giving life is not soo easy, the training teaches you

It depends.

Army and Military personnel are those who are not afraid to give their life and their family/love for their Nation. They are willing to die and/or bear pains/tortures just to see their citizen happy and free of all tensions. I, for myself, consider the elders of my nation as parents, the peers as friends, and the youth as my children. I won't mind dying if anything comes towards them. My nation is my family.

But, being a senior officer after ranks of Major comes with threats not only in war zone but to your direct family's life. Blackmailing to do/not do something and forcing you. That is more dangerous. Choosing between direct family and nation. If your friend (which I think is no one else but you yourself asking the question) is not brave enough to tolerate this, I recommend not joining the forces. Anyways the training is too brutal resulting in many cadets running away from PMA. No wonder we are classified as top class warriors in the world and our Air Force as best in training and Intelligence as best in operating.

Army life is a name of discipline, sacrifice, hard work and testing the potentials to the limits. Military life is full of adventure and challenges which tests the abilities courage and character of a soldier. Even in the army medical core i have observed the doctors and the staff working like a machine round the clock. Don't need to mention the challenges faced by the soldiers at the height of 20,000 feet in -50 Celsius or the blistering heat of Cholistan desert driving a Tank at 50 degree Celsius temperature. Any normal person cannot even think the challenges faced by the soldiers of our beloved army.

Thanks my friend yes it was my question.
It was because I want to join army and the people who don't want me to join army say that the army life is dangerous. But that was my answer in the thread. I think you didn't read it all

Army Life is Dangerous - Same with other Branches Although I feel that Navy life is a bit safer compared to Army or Air Force. There is no 100% chance that you would survive till your retirement..you might die well before your retirement. It's the risk that you have to take.
