Oh my god somebody added Shindlers list, just Wow! I seriously wonder how old some people are on this def forum, don't mind if he/she is a kid but some movies if they have been mentioned by the grownups, damn.

I will leave inception, city of god and star wars out as they have already been mentioned

Biography -- The world's Fastest Indian, The persuit of happiness

Sci-Fi -- Avatar, The Happening, The Day After Tomorrow

Crime/Suspense -- The Bank Job, The Phone Booth, No County for Old men

Romantic -- Titanic, 50 First Dates

War -- Saving Private Ryan, The Children of Huang Shi

Ooops, that is 10 and not 5. There are many more that one has seen and will never forget and many many many more that one forgot as soon as the movie ended. But this is the best I can do. Good thread, I love movies.
