in case you haven´t noticed that is a desired outcome. VN wants to bring down all car imports to zero by imposing stringent requirements. VN car plants soon begin to churn out own brands. Vietnamese can buy them, we soon no longer need to buy foreign made cars. bye bye to Japanese, Chinese and other brands.

Don't mind them brother, the Chinese here love you. They simply have an awkward way of expressing it.

Also, Vietnam is truly China's little brother in many ways. Its industrial growth is mirroring that of China in its earlier days. And Vietnam has been the only real country that has been able to cater to leaving Chinese factories since Vietnam is a LOT like China.

no actually not chinese but korean companies leave the home country for Vietnam. for example, Hyosung, the korean company just enters Vietnam last year. a $1.2 billion polypropylene plant is under construction, now the koreans wants to increase the investment bill to $6 billion. Lets see how long the chinese can laugh. the koreans work harder.
