THE TAXILA COPPER PLATE ~ EVIDENCE OF THE USE OF THE GREEK CALENDAR IN PAKISTAN

This copper plate in sanskrit right? It is remind me about many inscription in indonesia that also use sankrit

Word like putro nagare utarane still found in Indonesian word as putra (son) negara (state/country) and utara (north)
I am pretty sure the language is Gandhari.

He means the language, not the script.

Didnt the proto-bactian empire stretch all the way into kpk ?
What proto-Bactrian Empire are you talking of?

Do you mean the Greco-Bactrians?

What BS is this?! Dont you all know we are the same as the lughi wearing swamp dwellers?

.
If they looted them from 'India' then why you in a twist? Even if they do return them they will go to Modi's India.

Pre-1947 Indian treasures that have been looted from India are as much part of Pakistan as Indias, especially if they were taken from the territory of present day Pakistan.

I'm sure you're well versed on the subcontinents history & what the British did to it to maintain their grip while also expanding their economic might at the expense of pre-1947 Indians, Muslims or otherwise.

:D

We can even go as far as to say that the Gandharan script had as much in common with Sanskrit as it did with Aramaic (the precursor to Arabic).

Fact: Hazrat Isa R.A., spoke Aramaic. :D

Do you know what West Indians are?

Do you know what West Indians are?
Point being a West Indian is not a Indian. Prior to 1947 we were a colony called "British India". Got it? Suffix changes everything. Placing 'West' in front of Indian changes the meaning. So the loot was from British India.

A "West Indian" is not an Indian??

Suffix or not, if there's "Indian" in the word......it's an Indian. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I don't really want to get into word play....secularists are pros at that already. :D

What I'm saying and will continue to stand by with is that if any loot is taken from British India, especially Lahore, Karachi, Gandhara, any of the Indus Valley sites, Taxila etc etc, it belongs to Pakistan.

Agree with me or disagree with me, I don't care either way. You have your opinion & I have mine. :enjoy:

No. Add or delete one digit on your phone number and it will go somewhere else. Change one letter in your name and it will get warped. West Indian is NOT Indian. Indiana is NOT Indian. Dutch India was NOT India. Romania is NOT Rome etc If you can't see that you need your head examining.

He said the above...

If you had read my link, you would have seen that the script was used to represent Prakrit, an Indo-Aryan language. Prakrit is said to have existed alongside Sanskrit.
Prakrit was not a language, it was a designation for non-Sanskrit Indo-Aryan languages. Each Prakrit language was distinct from each other.

Kharosthi was primarily used to write Gandhari, though it was also used for Sanskrit and regional languages.

Pre-1947 Indian treasures that have been looted from India are as much part of Pakistan as Indias.
How have you come to that conclusion, why would foreign artifacts be of importance to us, in the context of our heritage.

We can even go as far as to say that the Gandharan script had as much in common with Sanskrit as it did with Aramaic (the precursor to Arabic).

Fact: Hazrat Isa R.A., spoke Aramaic. :D
I am glad that you are taking an interest into this topic, I encourage such endeavors among Pakistanis, but I don't think you know what you are talking about here.

You need to differentiate the script between the spoken language. Kharosthi developed from the Aramaic script, but has nothing to do with the Aramaic language. Sanskrit is a spoken language not a script, so I am not sure how you connected Kharosthi to Sanskrit.

Interesting, I was reading one of the first British book on Sindh from the 1800s, authored by an anthropologist who visited and studied the region for an extended time. As the case with most books of the era, it is sprinked with pseudo-science, but nonetheless still intriguing.

'Western Indian' was shortly used as a term for Indians of the Western Border States (by early British anthropologists) such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, etc... but did not include any of the regions of modern-day Pakistan as they were considered distinct nations.

Though I do know your context of 'West Indian' is completely different, I was reminded and thought this was a good chance to share something interesting I recently read.

Here are some snippets from the book regarding Western India and it's distinction from Sindh;

So you meant West Indian as in a person from West Indies....and not a West Indian as in a person living in Pakistan pre-1947??

You see, this is what happens when we get into word play.

You have also taken the discussion off topic...we're here discussing scripts, languages & loot...

Just like Urdu is written in a Perso-Arabic script and borrows words from Persian & Arabic...

Also this for your argument in the 1st quote:

Currently, Pakistan lacks both soft and hard power if the PM can't even attend a Muslim summit on the commands of the Saudis...
The Iranian puppy mafia is at it again.

Incompatible example as Gandhari does not borrow any words from Aramaic.

Also this for your argument in the 1st quote:
I'm not sure how that is addressing my "argument" here. Also, that chart is cringingly inaccurate, it doesn't even differentiate between Lahnda Pahari (basically hill dialect of Punjabi) and Nepali/Indian Pahari. Not to mention how disputed language categorizations are.

.
The Iranian puppy mafia is at it again.

So if I'm part of the "Iranian puppy mafia" does that make you part of the "Saudi puppy mafia"?

Incompatible example as Gandhari does not borrow any words from Aramaic.

It might not, it might have....we don't know since haven't dug deep or broad enough...

But what we do know is the below:

upload_2019-12-23_16-59-38-png.595216

Since the the script borrows from Aramaic it still makes it connected to it even if the spoken language is different but then again, what is spoken Gandharan like?

We would have to listen to both Aramaic and Gandharan to verify or dismiss my claim. :D

.
So if I'm part of the "Iranian puppy mafia" does that make you part of the "Saudi puppy mafia"?

There's only one mafia in Pakistan.. which is selling Pakistan in bits and pieces to Iran and everyone knows about it.
Indian couldn't have moved an inch forward in it's cold start, unless help from Iran was available.
Every info. this mafia leak to Iran reach to India, Israel and US at the same time. There's definitely a design behind this baseless propaganda and this game of was 10x more strong on pdf during Zardari rule, so i have seen the worst, carry on and i will be enjoying.
