The moon was sighted in Saudi Arabia yesterday not today..Er no mate....
The 4 schools of thought are in harmony with each other and accept each other....
Imam Malik Radi Allah Ta’ala Anhu used Imam Abu Hanifa Radi Allah ta’ala Anhu’s verdicts and Imam Shafi’i was a student of Hazrat Imam Malik Radi Allah ta’ala Anhu. Hazrat Imam Ahmad Hanbal was an admirer of Hazrat Imam Shafi’i and used to walk next to their donkey as respect whenever they came to Baghdad Sharif and hosted them at his home.
Now the 4 schools are branches of one tree and that tree is the ahle sunnah wal jammah - mainstream Islam.
These wahabbis are heretics.... the Saudis have just declared eid , using no sound methodology and on a whim as usual, which is against all rules of Shariah - even Her Majesty’s National Almanac Office declared that the the moon cannot be sighted anywhere in the world today....so you need to read more or sit with scholars
@313ghazi
And where do you think Ahle al beit and Sunna came from, if not from Saudi Arabia?
You know, when someone for any reason wants to dirty some else's reputation or image.. he will use all kind of lies based on twisting truths..
Salaf (Arabic: سلف, "ancestors" or "predecessors"), also often referred to with the honorific expression of "al-salaf al-ṣāliḥ" (السلف الصالح, "the pious predecessors") are often taken to be the first three generations of Muslims, that is the generations of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad and his companions (the Sahabah) ..
The Wahhabis called themselves Muwahideen (monotheists) – to call themselves Wahhabis was considered shirk. Salafism originated in the mid to late 19th Century, as an intellectual movement at al-Azhar University, led by Muhammad Abduh (1849-1905), Jamal al-Din al-Afghani (1839-1897) and Rashid Rida (1865-1935)
These are recent Sunni movements not schools of thoughts.. they still belong to one or another main school of thought..
