What's new

The result of us not uniting...

Bangladeshis hate Pakistanis
Pakistanis hate Afghans
Afghans hate Iranians
Iranians hate Turks
Turks hate Arabs

Sunnis hate Shia
Shia hate Sufi
Sufi hate Deobandi
Deobandi hate Berelvi

:blah: :blah::blah::blah:, the list of our sins goes on and on and on...

End result?

We have become harsh with each other and merciful to the enemy while our own brothers in Kashmir and Palestine look at us with utter dismay and disappointment. I mean look at 'em...look at the saudis, the dubians, bahrainis, egyptians, iranis, you name it...we are all at each other's necks while they mock our beloved Prophet pbuh, they wish and plan to bring death to the arabs while the arabs are busy making deals with them and appeasing them, opening mandirs for them...do they think they won't meet the same fate? We all ahoild be ashamed of ourselves, that most of the muslim governments to such a weak & homeopathic stance during the Gaza massacre...For God's sakes, China & Russia took a more aggressive stand than any Muslim country did!!!

I pray that Allah swt gives us the strength to AT LEAST embrace and live by the highlighted part of the verse:View attachment 754429

Sorry, but I just had to share this, hoping it would motivate you enough to unite with other Muslims regardless of race, nation, sect or fiqh. If you have any ounce of faith left then let this video turn you around 180°, let this video make tough as steel against the enemy and soft as silk towards each other.
Turks do not hate Arabs. Arabs hate Turks.
Hard to unite when 500m Arabs and other Muslims that hate you for speaking Turkish and not Arabic.

Pakistanis do not hate Afghanistanis.

This is an absurd postulation.

Actually, and more accurately:

Bangladeshis hate Pakistan
Afghans hate Pakistan
Iranians hate Pakistan

But they don't really have a problem with each other. You are conflating a Pakistani problem into a worldwide Muslim unity issue. Fix your own issues and then ask for Muslim unity.

That is eye opening, I am all for unity and only unity, the need of hour, deen and nation of Islam

How is someone hating you, your problem?

Unite with people who hated you because you're muslims????

Nayyyyy

>>>> six ‘Alawi notables from the Latakia region—including Hafiz al-Asad’s grandfather Sulayman al-Asad—to French prime minister Léon Blum on 15 June 1936. The six ‘Alawi notables criticize the negotiations undertaken by the Front populaire government for the independence of Syria; they decry the “spirit of hatred and fanaticism imbedded in the hearts of the Arab Muslims” against the ‘Alawis, Jews, Yezidis and other minorities and reject the idea that the Governorate of Latakia (the “Alaouites”) be included in the rest of Syria. They propose that the Alawi State be joined with Lebanon rather than Syria and demand to remain under French protection.

>>>> (the “Quai d’Orsay”), now located in La Courneuve suburb just north of Paris, do contain numerous letters sent by ‘Alawi and other notables to French government officials in 1936 to lobby against Syrian independence, and some of these do reject the prospect of “Muslim majority rule” in the strongest terms, demand the Alaouites’ inclusion in Lebanon or compare the plight of the ‘Alawis and Druze to the discrimination suffered by Jewish immigrants settling in Palestine. None of these separatist petitions, however, correspond to “no. 3547”, and none appear to bear the signature of an Asad.

Addendum (added by Joshua Landis): The following is the shortened text of the disputed 1936 petition published in English translation by Matti Moosa in his book: Extremist Shiites: The Ghulat Sects (1988) pp. 287‑88.

The Alawite people, who have preserved their independence year after year with great zeal and sacrifices, are different from the Sunni Muslims. They were never subject to the authority of the cities of the interior.

The Alawites refuse to be annexed to Muslim Syria because, in Syria, the official religion of the state is Islam, and according to Islam, the Alawites are considered infidels….

That's a very foolish thing to say

You just want to take Pakistan's individuality away by throwing them in the hate or the hated boat.

It's a tiring effort to make Pakistanis hate India their own existential enemy.

We are not hateful people.

Well this thread is about hate, so you should've voiced your feelings earlier.

Even if people are not hateful, but they are self serving. Expecting unity while acting in your own interests is futile.

One can say they are united in their self serving.

Hate serves no one.

There is no such thing as Muslim unity based on uniting nationalities or ethnicities of the Islamic faith. Real Muslim Unity is achieved through believers that meet conditions:

-Those that obey Allah and his Messenger(follow his sunnah)
-Those who are patient
-Those who do not come near Zina, Alcohol, other Haram
-Those who do not lose hope in the mercy of Allah
-Those who love/wish for their brother what they love/wish for their self
-Those who establish prayers, fast, and pay zakat
-Those who oppose injustice, speak out against it
-Those who enjoin good and forbid evil
-Those who donate to the poor, feed their hungry neighbors
-Those who are not arrogant
-Those who protect themselves from their own tongue
-Those who remain chaste

^^

And many more. That is the kind of Muslims that unite and bring unity/peace, if they take control of Muslim nations. They are a group of individuals who meet conditions. They are not one sect, or one political party, or one ethnicity, etc.... Individuals that do their best to obey God. It's impossible to blanket one group as the right one, because it's impossible for all people of one group to be good. It's possible of individuals from many Muslim nations to make up a good group of people. Hope this makes sense.

Also, it's possible even within the good group of individuals that disputes can arise. One person or few troublemakers, or misunderstandings can lead to disputes. This happens in family disputes, one person from one of your uncles or aunts family can trigger war between your uncles and aunts families. We are weak humans, Allah created us weak. We have to accept that we are weak and sinners, and only through him can he grant us mercy and a cure for our hearts, and keep us on the right path, and push us off if he seeks to. Allah kept the perfect qualities to himself. It's only for him and not us.

Seems your idea of unity consist of shoving sharia law down peoples throat whether they want it or not.

Actually justice and not crossing lines are the key factors in making and maintaining unity.
