or probably,he wasn't abducted by RAW at all..see,we've jingoistic media just like BD has.abducting a man, whose wife is very vocal against India...it really a bad plot even for a cheap Dhalywood movie.there is no benefit of it as Teesta deal is already stalled.until WB CM Mamta Banarjee is agreeing, there is no chance of starting negotiation on it.so,stop making fool of yourself in front of all of us.

there is so many abduction of traders in BD,some case even against Bangladeshi RAB personnel.its reported that abduction has been done due to the dispute on "Tola".same cases happens here too.abduction of traders is common matter,as they've to satisfy every stages of corrupt govt and political parties as well as thugs in that area.pulling RAW into it is as funny as it could be.

RAW may be involved in abduction

Eminent poet and writer Farhad Mazhar on Thursday expressed his suspecion that there could be a hand of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of India in the abduction of Rizwana Hasan’s husband Abu Bakar Siddique. He expressed the doubt while addressing a discussion meeting on democratic crisis in Bangladesh at the National Press Club.

“We are badly disappointed at the incident of abduction of Abu Bakar Siddique, the husband of chief executive of Bangladesh Environmental Lawyers Association (BELA) Rizwana Hasan. The incidents of disappearance and abduction are increasing day by day,” he said. The meeting organised by New York based Weekly Bangladesh was held with its editor Dr Wazed A Khan in the chair.

“Bangladesh is a peculiar country, where members of a foreign intelligent agency can pick up people and take them to their country. It cannot be tolerated. No person is safe here,” he added.Farhad Mazhar except India there is no country that considers the present government as democratic one.

BNP seeks explanation on RAW operation
Home boss unaware about ‘ISI agent’s arrest’

BNP on Wednesday sought an explanation from the government over the report of an Indian daily that India's external intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) has arrested a Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI agent from a Bangladesh airport, reports UNB. "A report of Indian English daily The Times of India about picking up an ISI agent by RAW from a Bangladesh airport has been published in today's Prothom Alo. We seek an explanation from the government in this regard," said BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

He continued: "If The Times of India's news is true, we want to know from the government how come the intelligence agency of a country can apprehend the agent of another country's intelligence agency agent. How did the intelligence agency men of other countries enter Bangladesh? Whether the government has no information about it?"

The BNP spokesman was addressing a meeting arranged by Swechchhasebak Dal at the Jatiya Press Club, demanding the release of its president Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel. Earlier on Tuesday, The Times of India reported that a small mistake on part of the ISI in preparing passport for Indian Mujahideen's (IM) Pakistani operative Zia-ur Rehman alias Waqas landed him in the net of Indian agencies. Waqas had been hiding in Bangladesh and was supposed to leave for Pakistan via Nepal when he was apprehended by India's external intelligence agency RAW. When Waqas reached the airport, Bangladesh's immigration officials discovered that there was no entry stamp on his passport. Even as they set out to detain him, the commotion attracted the attention of a RAW staffer who swiftly used his smart phone to photograph one of India's biggest tormentors and relayed it to his superiors, the news paper said. How the RAW men managed to get Waqas out of the airport and then to India remains unclear, it added. Fakhrul compared the rule of Awami League-led regime with that of noted filmmaker Satyajit Ray's imaginary tyrant king Hirak Raja. "The government wants to snatch people's right to express and hold different opinions and views. "The country is now under an undeclared one-party rule."

Criticising the government for what he said its growing repressive acts, the BNP leader said Awami League's now main target is to hang onto power by establishing one-party Baksal rule. He deplored that media is not duly focusing on the issue of force disappearance. "We get hurt when we see media is not properly publishing the news about force disappearances. Making people disappeared is a dangerous crime against humanity." Fakhrul again defended party senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman's recent remarks about Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, saying Tarique statement in London based on facts, documents. "He (Tarique) he has dug out those information from different history books on the Liberation War. The reactions of Awami League leaders to Tarique's statement suggest that they have got unnerved." Another message adds: State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday said he knows nothing about the arrest of an agent of Pakistan's intelligence agency by Indian RAW members in Dhaka. "I know nothing yet about it. I read it in the newspapers, I'm looking into the matter," he said while talking to reporters at the Secretariat. Asked whether the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of India has the authority to arrest intelligence agent of another country from Bangladesh, Asaduzzaman said, "We've a prisoner exchange treaty with India but they've no authority to do this." About the chargesheet pressed by the Rapid Action Battalion in connection with the Jubo League (JL) leader Riazul Haque Khan Milky killing case, the junior minister said it was realistic. Responding to another question about bringing back home BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman, he said, "It fully depends on Tarique Rahman whether he would return or not. Legal action will be taken against him when he will return, but the government would not take any steps to bring him back." Replying to a question about the progress in investigation into Sagar-Runi murder case, the minister said as per the court order Rab is investigating the murder of journalist couple Sagar-Runi murder case. "Right information will be known at the right time," he added.
