The U.S. and Pakistan continue to build on their improving relationship and both share a common stance against terrorism. It is important for our officials to meet regularly and address any shared concerns and to prevent any issues from arising.
Several steps have been taken to further enhance our association. For example: our senior officials met in Islamabad last month to discuss trade promotion efforts, entrepreneurship, diversification of agriculture, intellectual property rights, and initiatives to boost investment under the bilateral Joint Action Plan, a plan created by President Obama and Prime Minister Sharif in 2013 to boost two-way trade and investment. What other steps do you think should be taken to further improve our relationship?
