Remember one of the victim is Sunni too , 3/4 are pakistanis


I think as of now it's kinda complicated tbh, we'll need more info to understand the whole issue and the killer motivation

Only thing we know as of now is that killer was angry that his daughter married a shia

The suspect told police he was a former member of the Afghan Special Forces under the last regime (1:37 in the third video of this post). They linked the bullet casings to a gun he owns. If it’s true about his former military career, it might make it harder for other former Afghan army veterans to get refugee status.

His activities also suggest he had a personal issue with at least some of the victims as well as issues what appears to be issues fitting into life in the US.

Found the clip. The timeline of the murders could be linked to his frustration of the situation in Afghanistan, with the suspect taking his anger out on Pakistanis. Just a theory. As a precaution, this might be something for Pakistanis to keep an eye out for when meeting refugees especially new ones with military backgrounds, just to be on the safe side. Not to discriminate but just be street smart if someone starts acting weird. See something say something.
