There was a research paper in the past few years back by a scholar who suggested adopting rat meat for provision of protein to the malnourished people rather to all .

May be in future something like that come up.

as far as poverty is concerned its election time the poor communities need to use their vote wisely. Those who have choice to select food will never go for rats but when its question of survival yes its better to be alive
