The Racialization Of American Politics

The major difference between these events and the recent race riots in Ferguson and racial tension elsewhere in America is that the race riots of the 1960's occurred during a period of transition from segregation to desegregation. Most Black and especially White Americans weren't mentally prepared in advance for such a major social change thus resulting in violent confrontations and riots.

However, since then White America has come a long way in its treatment/views of Blacks and other minorities, yet despite this Blacks still find reasons to riot, attack, and rape White Americans to "avenge the racism" they suffered decades/150+ years ago.

This violent response on the part of the Black community and its endorsement of violence and criminal behavior to avenge what it deems as "unjust White Police brutality against innocent Black males" along with the race baiting of Black politicians and "civil rights" leaders is inciting/reviving a racial consciousness within White Americans, forcing them to realize that it is no longer in their interest to continue to appease Blacks and other minorities at the expense of their own White interests.

Blacks, a good majority of them, think along racial lines. So do Latinos. Thus, a similar mentality is beginning to take hold within White Americans as well as it is only justified in such circumstances where every other racial/ethnic group BUT Whites looks after its own racial/ethnic interests.

I just reiterated what the OP article stated.

I still don't see how @Syed.Ali.Haider viewed this as bashing America.

EVERY racial group in USA is perfectly capable of looking after its own interests within a level playing field provided by the framework of laws and institutions. Any imperfections in this system are simply not enough to claim increasing "racialization", but only reason enough to keep working at improving it. That is all.
