Pakistan Army 3 or 4 stars travel in armoured Mercedes S-class saloons.....some acquired in 2004 and 2006 under Gen. Musharraf government. Some ordered later.

The 760Li Security is known the world over for offering the best off the shelf protection, why buy this Jag? I think the 7 Series is way classier anyway and given the SPG use X5s as escorts there is commonality in terms of training and maintenance.

Yes, they do beat the Indian PM's cavalcade and by a huge margin by sheer numbers. And I prefer it this way. Work more, show off less.

I don't judge motorcades by the number of cars in it, this is a silly way of judging them. It is about function, motorcades are not about status (although that's how many in S.Asia use them) but about protecting the protectee. Quaality over Quantity. Here the Indian PM's motorcade can't be beat- PM's car and a decoy, each with 2 escort vehicles (also transporting the PM's personal security detail), 1 lead vehicle, 1 mobile jammer and a state of the art ALS ambulance (leave aside the local police vehicles), functional and classy.
