Is it legal to have such exquisite pets in Indonesia ? I thought this creature is venomous, Indonesian breed doesn't secrete toxins ?

Yup it is illegal, but as I said the law inforcement is not that tough, in the animal market some time we can see exotic and endanger animals being sold here in Jakarta like Java Eagle. When I was still at college, my best friend father can buy a sea eagle birth and put it in their home.

Well I think every thing that moves like snakes, rabbit, chicken, even mice. Birth should live freely but some how people can still like to have them.

This Java Eagle in the hands of local that look like live near their habitat. You can see how beautiful this birth is. It actually become our nation symbol, although we name it under a mystical birth called Garuda that maybe comes from Hindu story

Legal as long as you got the license and permit in which cost lot of money, some rich people even able to acquire Bengal Tiger like this one
