The Pentagon has suspended training for new Turkish F-35 pilots

. . .
If Turkey go ahead with S-400 it is very praiseworthy. Let me just add that as a side note. The beauty is that a transition to S-500 would be quite logical.
Tbh with you, I think Turkey is NOW the "junior " acquaintance that has grown into a full fledged, confident, strong regional power. Turkey's behavior at the minimum is a request for renegitation of the status quo vis-a-vis Turkey's relationship and importance to NATO and US. Turkey started this stubbornness knowing fully well US retaliation was a possibility, so Turkey is obv not afraid of that. Trump thoguht world countries were screwing US over, but now we see other countries THINK the US was screwing them over too..wow.

maybe the problem is S400 with its advanced technology of spying and detecting stealth that earlier models lack. (correct me please) even Iran has S 300 but America doesnt really care
US says it doesnt really care about Iranian S300s, but i believe no western fighter jet isnt scared of it. If US wasnt scared of it why did it beg or pressure or convince Russia to delay delivery to Iran? I dont believe that "perceived disadvantage" that the US worried about with the S300 has completely dissapeared.
