surkh parcham holder.Good lord. Why are you ready to kill 50-60 men at the drop of a hat - oh no, a kanghi.
Take it easy.
I for one will send women cops for mob control armed with LMGs with clear order to shoot anyone who even chrge towards them.as fo men constables they deserve such beatings once in a while.
If you really want gender equality, then why are you proposing women police to be present in majority women protests? Now shouldn't that be gender discriminatory again.Thats what I said earlier..change the rules.
It was not just about the policewoman, it was a whole lot more than that. Even the DCP was injured. The mob had come prepared with lathis and stones and no matter what this ruckus was just waiting to happen. I would even go as far as welcoming others injured to file a case and let the courts find out who is to blame on a per case basic. Everything was recorded on the CCTV anyways. It shouldn't be hard is it.Violence should not be tolerated but that doesn't make this a special case just bcs a women is at the receiving end of the mob violence.
Very well then mob should not cry foul if som police woman shot dead some 50-60 on the spot in future. Then mob comes crying about human rights etc.

This man should have been hanged by now or given out life sentence. And now assaulting a cop? And what is these recent incidents of assaulting cops? Mumbai and this?
But thats not highlighted in the media or may be I am looking at the wrong source.
He was hit with stones. Media in India will always highlight what it feels will get them the most TRP. The whole incident happened few blocks away from my office and I have seen ample videos of the inflammatory speech by congress leaders and the melee that ensued.
Congress in the state of orissa is nothing but a team of goons. They are largely responsible for the plight of the state despite it being one of the richest in terms of mineral resources as well as having a strategic sea route to major asian economies. It is only after the local BJD govt has come to power, we are seeing some change and progress. I agree it is still under its potential, but nevertheless as a resident of this state, I can vouch for the fact that it is far far better than the congress days.
in mumbai there were no orders to to shoot at all even under extreme provocation.Just playing politics with law and order.Seeing how easily guns can be snatched from police men/women as shown in Azad Maidan, I don't think its even possible.
Tough decisions are necessary to to keep unruly civilized. What is your current location - I would like to remain at least 3000 KM away.
You are a very dangerous decision maker indeed.
Ya world saw that specialized training of west in mob control during london riots by kids.Mob controlling is a specialised job and developed countries spend a fortune on training of police personals on these matters. Unfortunately this is not included in any priority list of the govts of the subcontinent, thus such incident are a routine issue, since forever. The only difference now is that the recent media revolution has brought it into limelight. I think its about time that our govts took the matter seriously by imparting quality training so that threats to the lives of the law enforcing agencies as well as to the protestors be reduced.

BJD typically doesn't align with Congress or BJP, so it has never been in NDA or UPA. It just supports the central govt from outside and possibly thats the reason why it never gets central assistance or "special grants". I sometimes wish it were actively involved in central govt...atleast that will allow some of the industrial projects go off smoothly in the state. Most protests against the industrialization is backed by congress and BJP activists.Everybody blames regional parties like BJD for the unstable coalition govt in the center..but seeing the performance of national parties I think even Kerala is better off with a regional party.
Just shows that we have a long way to go on the training of our police women..they are becoming easy targets for the rioters.
Do you really feel that she was bashed up bcs she was a women or she was a policeman.
