Honestly I don't know anything about that and would like to read about it if pointed to an unbiased online account of the said case. As I pointed out before I am a total outsider, a fourth generation migrant and before Mr Imraan Khan became PM I was a firm believer of the indian narrative, not that I am a supporter of the hindutva shit but before PMIK the indian narrative held sway over the international diaspora of subcontinental origins. So if you can direct me to an article regarding the said case I would be really grateful but my personal view plus that of my family and my peers remains the same about the stupidity of the said people. I rest my case.

If you think these corrupt will allow a free and fair election, then you are dreaming even more.

I agree with you on points you raised but these are not all. What about horse trading and 63A explanation? If supreme court have decided that case that may have solved many issues but they totally ignored this and instead jump to other.

One thing is the court stepping in to declare a ruling illegal due to it being unconstitutional. Its another to then get involved in the procedures by dictating when the voting will happen.

Tomorrow if a judge does something unconstitutional, for example, giving undue priority to certain references while deferring others for no valid reason, can the parliament then also step in and direct the court that it must hear a case and provide a ruling by a particular date?

In the ongoing situation, these are the ground realities:

1) Mr. Bajwa has compromised on the national security of Pakistan to ensure that the Military-Feudal Nexus can keep ruling the submissive people of Pakistan.
2) Mr. Bajwa is confused, and taking knee-jerk reactions, which include the medieval tactics of harassing political workers and social media activists.
3) He has acknowledged the pressure from the people of Pakistan by not attending the Beggar's oath taking ceremony. This also has given the PTI narrative more momentum.

The solution: Elections, but how?

It has become a matter of national security to conduct a national election. The military may have realized the mistake it has made. As Shahbaz Gill puts it:

"Buzurgo, maan lo blunder ho gya hai."

But the path to elections is not clear. Is it possible that Shahbaz Sharif just announces election tomorrow out of nowhere? The PDM won't be able to do that. However, I think there is a way:

1) Now that the military may have realized their blunder, they should again start political engineering in Punjab all over again.
2) The establishment should now make sure that Pervaiz Elahi becomes the next Chief Minister of Punjab AT ALL COSTS.
3) Pervaiz Elahi will make the decision to dissolve the Punjab Assembly within a few days after he comes to power.
4) Soon after, KPK assembly will be shattered.
5) The path to the elections will become smoother.


Tomorrow, Imran Khan is all set to hold a jalsa in Peshawar. That jalsa will shake the foundations on which the military establishment and the feudal lords stand on, Inshallah. I won't be surprised if Bajwa himself starts calling PTI dissidents in Punjab assembly after tomorrows Jalsa.

The dissolution of Punjab assembly has become a matter of internal and national security of Pakistan. Furthermore, it is LITERALLY the only way out I can think of. If Punjab assembly goes down, everyone in Pakistan will have some face-saving. The pressure on the establishment will be reduced, PMLN and PPP can continue with their "Imran is corrupt" rhetoric, while IK himself can lead Pakistanis into a new Pakistan that is completely autonomous and "khud-mukhtaar".

Timeline:
1. After NCV submission on 8th March IK/PTI was saying we have the numbers.
2. When dissidents openly came on TV. PTI MNAs attacked Sindh House.
3. Then PTI tried to bring 63A to disqualify dissidents or to not count their vote.
4. After that PTI tried their best to woo coalition partners but failed.
5. After everything failed and when they realized they don't have numbers the letter came in the picture. I think letter was only for Russia visit due to which US was not happy and in NSC meeting internal matters mentioned was pointing to that visit.

That's why I am not buying this letter thing. Its just political statement. They are not even trying to get them punished. They just want elections and come back in power. That will be Azadi? We will be superpower? What is the plan to improve economy?

Also opposition is an idiot when petrol is $100+ and inflation is very high, they want to come in govt.

In the end it was just "zid" of both sides. One wanted to remove IK and other side didnt want Shahbaz to become PM. Thats why "Achkan" was the main issue. Pakistan is second priority for both sides.

PTI was trying to interrupt 63A like MNAs can't even vote or something. If they were not sure about 63A then why they did go to SC for that because on one side they didnt want SC to interfere because of 69 and on another side they want SC to interfere. Complete hypocrisy.


Russia visit was decision of IK Govt not opposition, if USA is scolding IK Govt for that. Why blame opposition for that?

I think if later some credible person will deny IK claim, this will be an issue for PTI. Other players are just playing waiting game, IK announces surprise but instead he is getting surprises. I am sure one of his close aide will do that on a right time. I feel Shah Mahmood Qureshi can betray.

If you do some research and thinking before making a shitty post, u can avoid more humiliation. Article 69 is there for some reasons, and if you are questioning it then u shud question the constitution makers who made it. Ask them and hit them in the head that why they wrote this article in the constitution. Now if it is there, it should be protected by the SC as it is their job to safeguard the constitution.

And if the parliament don't like this article, then THE PARLIAMENT has the right to make an amendment in the constitution and remove it but still the supreme court has no right to violate it. Get that in the head.
