What's new

The Official NFL Thread - 2016/2017

I like the ravens too, they lost to the raiders on Sunday but it was good game nonetheless

We'll bounce back.

Oh no you didn't. You had your time...Ray Lewis is a distant memory and Flacco is unreliable.
Plus, I'm a Virginia guy...gotta hate the Ravens, like I hate the Terps. Not the O's though...they were around, when the Nats weren't

:close_tema:

Now you listen here you Hookie, i'm not sure how they do it in hill-billy country, but in Bmore the Ravens, Terps, and O's are a complete package. You buy 1 you buy them all.

Cards beat the Niners...but, neither team looked good, this was a poor game. Then again, most thrusday games tend to be poor.

Gabbert is f-ing shit, the amount of easy passes he failed to complete was beyond belief. Kaep will be starting next week.

Skins 16 Ravens 10
Lions 24 Eagles 23
Pats 33 Browns 13
Colts 29 Bears 23
Titans 30 Dolphins 17
Vikings 31 Texans 13
Steelers 31 Jets 13

-My Skins are 3-2
-Eagles unlucky to lose, Ryan Matthews fumble cost them the game.
-Brady wasn't rusty at all

Well then...we've got most of the NFC East represented, just need a Cowboys fan to complete the set.

Wentz has looked really good - they kept it simple initially, but last couple of weeks, he's made some crazy throws. Looks like you guys got the right guy....

A fan of Suh - a rarity with his bad rep. Surprisingly though - he is very well spoken and articulate and at times an absolute beast on the field.

I definitely feel when He's a keeper and will excel in this league. Now how well will he excel in this league? Only time will tell of course. I think at the very least he will be a good player.

Yeah, I know he has a bad rep. I just think the guy is such a beast. A beast that if most NFL fans are honest, would want on their respective team if they could get him.

Pretty self explanatory, right?

With all the expats on this forum, plus the odd American....surely, we've got some NFL fans.

Speak up fellas...so,

Who do you support and why?
Favorite player?
Most hated player?
Team you despise the most?
Who'll win the SB this season?

1. Redskins - Lived in Virginia for a significant part of my life
2. Antonio Brown
3. J.J. Watt
4. Pats
5. Pats :(

1. Patriots, of course - I've lived in Massachusetts since I was three.
2. Tom Brady, of course - Is there any other?
3. Pretty much everybody in the AFC East
4. I despise the Cowboys. America's Team, my foot. They haven't been America's team in years.
5. Patriots, of course

I know they are a lot of Patriots haters here. Let them hate. They're just jealous.

Rj 3 never gon' save the Reeeeedd skeens :haha:

Rumor had it that he might go to dallas. DALLAS SUPERIOR THAN reeeddd skeeens :yay:
The way the Cowboys are playing with Prescott, I think even Romo is going to get a run around for his money let alone RG3

Yes it was a sad day in NY for the football fans yesterday.....Packers 23 Giants 16 :fie:

Panthers are in big trouble....1-4

Really happy for the rookie kicker from FSU, he's a really good kicker...just no confidence atm...glad he made the game winner

WEEK 6

Big round - lots of season defining games

Chargers 21 (2-4)
Broncos 13 (4-2)

2 losses in a row for the Broncos, that D hasn't looked as imposing

Bills 45 (4-2)
49ers 16 (1-5)

Bills playing well, Shady running the ball like crazy atm

Skins 27 (4-2)
Eagles 20 (3-2)

Oh YEAH!!! My Skins got a big win!!!!Eagles were rubbish, a special teams TD and brain fade from Captain Kirk kept them in the game.

Titans 28 (3-3)
Browns 26 (0-6)

Browns might go 0-16, but they've been in every single game and are heading in the right direction.

Giants 27 (3-3)
Ravens 23 (3-3)

OBJ had a career game - but these are two mediocre teams.

Saints 41 (2-3)
Panthers 38 (1-5)

Panthers won't be making the playoffs - Cam has been up and down this season, but their biggest issue is the D - it is spectacularly shit.

Jaguars 17 (2-3)
Bears 16 (1-5)

I'm trying to pretend like I care...but, I don't.

Lions 31 (3-3)
Rams 28 (3-3)

Gurley is struggling running the ball, his last 7-8 games haven't been great.

Dolphins 30 (2-4)
Steelers 15 (4-2)

Big Ben injured AGAIN - torn meniscus, out for a couple of games (Pats and Ravens). Think the Steelers will flatter of deceive again this season.

Patriots 35 (5-1)
Bengals 17 (2-4)

Pats too good, Burfict with another dirty tackle.

Chiefs 26 (3-2)
Raiders 10 (4-2)

Raiders with a dud.

Seahawks 26 (4-1)
Falcons 24 (4-2)

Falcons gotten robbed, Sherman got away with a clear DPI on Julio Jones. How the refs missed that

Cowboys 30 (5-1)
Packers 16 (3-2)

Aaron Rodgers is in big trouble - he looks horrible. Dak, Zeke and the Cowboys just keep winning. No way, Romo is getting his job back atm.

Texans 26 (4-2)
Colts 23 (2-4)

Anytime Andrew Luck loses...I'm a happy camper.
