'Where we fit in' was because most educated Muslim folks at that time were Bengalis (mostly from East Bengal, some from Calcutta). Bengalis were most of the educated Muslim intelligentsia at that time, people like that hardly existed in West Pakistan except a few privileged folks from select families. The population of East Bengal Muslims was also higher than in entire Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, NWFP etc.

All-India Muslim League was formed mostly by Bengalis because they controlled the voters in the majority Muslim areas. Here are the presiding leaders of that party (Over half of them were Bengalis from East Bengal),

In Karachi, the residential areas, Nazimabad and North Nazimabad in suburbs of Karachi, had been named after Khwaza Nazimuddin's name. In Islamabad, there is a road intersection, Nazimuddin Road, that has been named in his honor; while in Dhaka, there is also a road after his namesake.

After an order from the Supreme Court in 2008, the government in Dhaka allowed Biharis to be included in the national voters' list. This also enabled them to obtain documents proving their identity. However, most Biharis are not eligible for Bangladeshi passports because they live in temporary settlements and according to the rules, an applicant needs to provide a permanent address for getting a passport.

Who gave the order? That neo-rajakar must have soft corner for these Biharis. He and these Biharis should be relocated/exiled to a remote-isolated island for the rest of their lives unless Pakistan or India take them back. They came from Bihar, they literally slaughtered Bangladeshis during 1971 in the name of Pakistan and created terror in Mirpur area that time.

And they still speak Urdu and involved in criminal activity including drug smuggling. They definitely shouldn't get right to vote or any kind of benefits.
