The Nefertiri conflict between germany and egypt

I´m italian. I most likely have some roman ancestors don´t you think? :)
highly doubtful considering my family name, place of origin (Lucca) and profession of my ancestors. Its more likely that my roots are mixed etruskan and roman and germanic.

I thought you were Indonesian (based on the photos you posted previously). lol

He means they were 'true Egyptians' when they were Christian and under influence of European Empires but ever since they became Muslims under Arab Empire they no longer were true Egyptians. :D

I look like a typical italian. In other words, like a god

The truth is most Middle Eastern countries had a very poor record of looking after their heritage, associating it with their pagan past. Nineteenth century European explorers were the ones who revived interest in it.

You dont look remotely Italian. Let me give you a hint, I as an Iranian look more European than you (not that I have a great desire to look like European or anything else for that matter)

You look like someone from either Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines or thereabouts. As ozzy said, Mexican is not so far out either.
Not that there is anything wrong with that what so ever. Im just saying you look nothing like a European. lol

Thieves.... shameless thieves. Stealing other nations heritage.

Most hilarious is that Egypt offered them a part of their historic tradition in return which they refused, so apparently Egyptian history is most important for German Museums then their own.

We have gigantic museums that deal mostly with german history but as a worldleading nation we also have museums that deal with other cultures.

The only mayan scipture for example. The Codex Dresden. Is in Dresden Germany.

We also have an islamic museum in Berlin which houses the entire palace from calif Al-Walid II

So you stole from the poor Mexicans as well, figures.

Yeah he looks Hispanic.

Not gonna lie, lost a bit of respect for Germany after reading this. If the country of origin wants something back, they should give it back.

Trolling aside,@MarkusS has some near eastern mixture, which is no surprise considering the melting pot that ancient rome and Mediterranean area was. Some people from near east have a bit slanted eyes. Armenoid race - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Iranians from south Iran, like you, look like typical Irano-Afghan race. read this article: Irano-Afghan race - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Did ancient Rome ever get as far as South East Asia? If so that might explain the way Markus looks but still doesn't explain his "special" behavior on this forum from this "supreme gentleman". (who gets that joke lol)

she is now, isn´t she?

emperor Wilhelm II brought her to public display. Adolf Hitler made her an german heritage icon. Chancellor Merkel praised her as important part of german history as well.

Ancient artefacts keep changing hands, does not make them part of anyone heritage but place of origin.

I seriously don´t see why we should give this back? Egypt can´t care for it and it is safe here. It is human heritage and should not be placed somewhere, where its safety is not guaranteed.

Alexanders empire reached far into india. Later alexanders empire became the seleucian empire and then part of rome.
