Almost everyone in my parent's generation in Kolkata were overtly or covertly Naxal supporters. There have been thousands of books and films in Bengali about it. Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi is about Naxalite movement is a Hindi film. Bhooter Bhabishyat is the highest grossing Bengali film in 2012 has a Naxal as it's central character. Indians know what a Naxal is.

How is it a secret, when it was front page Indian news? I fail to understand why you are making a big deal of it. You insulted me first. "Go to sleep neighbor, Naxals live in the moon" was YOUR standard response to anybody. You want respect? Start by learning to answer properly first.
