in 1951 Pakistan's population was 33.7 million and now is about 207 million which is 6 times higher than 50s
while in same period Chinese population has increased only 2.5 times
in 50s Chinese population was 550 million and now is 1.39 billion
if Pakistan had controlled its population like China then today our population would have been not more than 90 million

The amount of food wasted by humans..especially in the restaurants is startling. Some people have taken the initiative to collect the left overs and distribute it among the destitute.

Bazars are full, but people don't have money to do buy. Welcome to modern world.

A lot of the money / resources have been diverted to gadgets like smartphones, bikes, headphones etc than food. People spend less on quality food and buy better phones.

These jahil mullahs have a lot to answer for.
They won't even allow people to vaccinate against polio on some spurious accusation that the vaccine restricts reproduction.
I don't know why they want to keep increasing these destitute, suffering multitudes when countries like Pakistan can't provide for those that already exist.
It's truly baffling to me.

That is unfortunately, true.

People can grow some food inside their homes. It is a very strange phenomena that most of the people in cities cover the open courtyards with bricks and tiles instead of making small kitchen gardens.
In my immediate family i.e. my parents / siblings and in-laws, we have a tradition of making small gardens and even indoor plants for growing fresh items like tomatoes, mint, coriander, sage, thyme etc.
While in Pakistan we have bigger kitchen gardens so we grow vegetables like potatoes etc. And here we don't hire any gardener rather me and my wife do it... in Pakistan, we get some help from gardeners but my father is personally involved in it.

I cannot believe the stupidity and arrogance of posters here.... just 50 years ago famines were common all over the world yet the global population was half that of today. Today the population has doubled but food is plentiful so much so that just the wasted food in U.S. can probably feed global population. Each store and supermarket from a small town to large cities is full of dated food products that go bad and are thrown out. When China was half the population it is today the famine killed millions and today it feeds over a billion. Population police should come with a valid argument! If Pakistan can't feed it's poor the answer lies in greed and not lack of produce.

Some people are here just to spread negativity there isn't any scarcity of wheat or rice in Pakistan but meat and milk consumption is low
Bangladesh and Arab countries import rice from Pakistan
Afghanis import and smuggle wheat from Pakistan
