What's new

The most popular last name in every country in the world, and what they mean

lol...I literally don't know a single person in India with his/her last name as Devi
it is to do with the ignorance of the compiler. people like him cant tell what is a name or a title. they also think that bibi, begum, kaur, devi and singh etc. are surnames.

edit:
I think Mohammad is the most common name in the world , isnt it?
up until very recently there was no concept of a surname in Islamic world.
examples:

father: shah manzoor Ali kazmi
son: sayyad tariq hussain
------------------------------
father: muhammad fazal
mother: akbar jan
son: tassadaq hussain
son: tassawar hussain
-----------------------------------
father: bagh ali
mother: rasool bibi
son: muhammad rafique
son: muhammad hanif
daughter: kalsoom akhtar

so you will write:
rasool bibi zojah bagh ali
kalsoom akhtar dukhtar bagh ali
muhammad rafique wald bagh ali
................................................
if you are an arab (real or wannabe) you'll write:
muhammad rafique bin/ibn bagh ali
kalsoom akhtar bint bagh ali

Emailed them, what more do you want me to do? If you're so pumped up then take whatever action you feel necessary.
done what? you left the fake injun map alone, meaning it is still here showing GB is in bharat (it never has been, not even during British raj, it was autonomous even then) this is how people are made used to an idea i.e if you see it enough times, hear a lie over and over, you, in back of your mind, start believing it

then what does نور الدین mean? pray tell

purging it from the post would be the obvious solution. original site will not remove it from theirs, it's been tried

bharat has more clout there than I do, heck even here on a so-called Pakistan forum I'm treated like a non-entity what chance do I have there?
