Because, India is willing to pay such price.
India is not buying Typhoons.
Why Typhoons are so expensive???
Because the design of typhoons are such that it's aerodynamically unstable, and requires a lot of sensors and controllers to stabilize making them very expensive, and maneuverable.

These are wrong prices India bought 1 Rafael for $120 million

these are the base price... which we got was well customized ones.

And MKIs are also comes areound 100mil a plane

Every modern platforms have dynamically unstable airframes including LCA Tejas... Jf17 is an exception... it has stable configuration... Unstable platforms are more maneuverable and must need FBW in all axis...

You are right, but compared to Rafaels, Typhoons have can maneuver better at Supersonic speeds. While Rafaels are long endurance strike fighters, with better weapons carrying capacity. And faring one of the best engines, compared to the Rafael.

The design is heavily based on the F-7 and the F-16, both of which are highly maneuverable fighters in their own right. The JF-17 has exhibited decent maneuverability in all airshows.

The answer lies in your comment... An unstable airframe must need FBW in all axis... Even a very skilled pilot can't control an unstable airframe without the help of flight control computers...

So the block 1 and block 2 are comparatively stable when compared to the JF-17 B (which also makes use of swept back stabiliser instead of vertical one).

Really hope that the block 3 design is based on this. It does look to be more unstable design.
