As always, I genuinely am thankful for your insights, your vast knowledge on evolving world stage and most importantly for educating us. I learned a lot from you.
Do realize that due to being busy I come very rarely on PDF or if I do i stay very briefly. So please don't mind if I fail to reply.
I will definitely someday answer you in a more global context. That is where emerging reality possibly taking us. But give me some long unspecified time, as there are some issues I have to deal with. Also I need to find a way to write on few things in reply that don’t create unnecessary controversy. Hence I need time, long time for that.
Here I will just focus on Pakistan, in a much more down to earth way and some high tech weapons programs (more below) and so on. Cause I am kind of anxious to say few things on that.
For example there are strategic threats even from friendly states which Pakistan can mitigate but we still need to discuss them anyway (just as an exchange of opinions). That will be a future discussion though. Then I will also reply your earlier question on how to deal with Afghanistan issue in more detail.
However the 10 point solution that I came up with, I will discuss only ONE point. Since rest of them require addressing trust deficit with Afghanistan in a very generous and sympathetic way (even to read those 10 points you need some sympathy for afghans). Specially the military connections with Afghanistan (not the way one would immediately thinks) and other points I won’t discuss. Trust me its better that way. By Afghanistan I mean future Taliban inclusive government and not this current government.
So in a later post, I will discuss ONLY ONE point of the solution strategy aiming at suffocating Indian and even western future presence in Afghanistan and even in central asia as whole (presence of western nations in central asia should be of grave concern to us. More on that later someday). To avoid heated angry debates I might only give some hints on what the other remaining 9 points regarding Afghanistan are. I hesitated to reply you on the topic despite you asking, but when I have the nerves I will write what I think. Solutions are surprisingly robust though. Afghanistan does have solutions.
For now I won’t be able to discuss the “vectors of history” in global context (due to lack of time) that are shaping the world. But I will say few words on what will be shaping our Pakistani future as I understand. Just few words and here they are. .
First note the tri-technology pathway (air, space and undersea) that Pakistan has selected to lead Pakistan into becoming “the America of the Muslim world”.
One is aerospace technologies within the “air” mainly project Azm and others. The other recently got approval finally namely space based program ( I was aware of it long before most others and prayed for it a lot, like really a lot). I will write some other day “great implications” of it that have quite novel aspects. Right now all I can say without the active space based technology development program we can’t grow beyond a certain point. So finally moving into space assisted militarization program is great step for Pakistan.
Its clear that Pakistan military is progressively becoming our primary engine leading Pakistan towards core technological capabilities igniting our existing civilian industry which will eventually progressively lead, on a much wider scale our civilian and industrial rapid growth. That's due to our Aryan past. Aryans were warrior race after all. Hence military leads our way. We can't do things say like south korea. Which is very good thing. Since at most they are a "glorified puppet" of the west. They can't even openly and freely negotiate with their own "half" in the north.
We are Muslims. We can't be that slave nonsense.
Coming back, in not so distant future expect some progress towards the undersea leg namely the nuclear submarine program which will eventually have an associated
unmanned under sea strike group capability. Some behind the scene thinking, planning and other work continues in that direction.
By the way, “the civilian” who will towards the end of next year or
later, hopefully, will give the classified briefing to Pakistan navy strategic command on “strategic possibilities and urgency to acquire nuclear submarines” (on his own initiative), has already asked me to assist him in this regard. Nuclear submarine is critical not just for the reasons Pakistan navy thinks. It has other implications. For example, It has something else namely “a mobile high energy density power source or a nuclear reactor”. It is that which will be required in the future for a sudden simultaneous distributed coordinated large scale attack on sea or land (using things such as chargeable unmanned undersea vehicles, undersea launched missiles and towards the end of decade even laser weapons etc. Do realize laser weapons are energy hungry). Also realize such technologies will emerge very quickly in the near future as worlds is moving towards that direction. With US on indian side, we need to move fast. For that first we need to create awareness, hence the need for high technology briefings. In short we must develop a large capable, designed and made in Pakistan nuclear submarine.
Same technologies especially the associated A.I. driven cyber-physical network centric warfare will form the basis of simultaneous large scale warfare capacity of Pakistan army and air force allowing simultaneous distributed attack capabilities that are extra-ordinarily hard to defend against.
A.I. based components from such technologies will be highly useful even for our ISI (e.g. automated cognitive analysis by A.I. systems that pool vast information from heterogeneous information sources (e.g. human intelligence, social networks, satellites etc.) to not just synthesis political, social, and military situational assessment and awareness but also to synthesis information for the purpose of propagation and diffusion back into the “environment” to influence and shape such landscapes in such a way that serve Pakistan’s strategic, social, military and even industrial interests.
The details are complex but our work on them continues. It may take longer than a year or even 2 years to synthesis such briefings. WHY? Because the need to develop extremely complex mathematical models and associated simulations to verify things such as the time frame needed to develop such capabilities and so things can be backed up in such briefings with rigorous mathematical analysis and A.I. driven algorithms.
Such a research is complex and time it takes is irrelevant since the result are so extra-ordinary that absolutely transcends every alternative value of time it takes to get there. So even if its takes much much longer it still is worth it. Once we have the models and simulation things can be done much quicker, much much quicker.
Furthermore someone will let Pakistan know all the elements of the core technologies required for a hypersonic global strike capability including up to date current research on specifics such as designing adaptive inlet geometries for scram jet engines etc. Towards that end, core capability already exists at NESCOM. Whatever we do, as india-US nexus shapes, we must develop rapidly, a credible global strike capability to deter our expanding list of enemies that truly pose existential threat to our defense and even our existence itself (please don’t forget the Israel in that regards).
Right now our sole global strike capability consists of sending our submarines across the planet earth and striking coastal cities on the other end of the world with a nuclear strike using sea launched babur cruise missile. Its good but needs significant upgrade.
Such exchanges between Pakistani civilians with advanced mathematical and technological expertise and Pakistani military are fundamentally important initiatives that will positively shape both the speed and quality of technological edge that Pakistan can attain vis via vis our global adversaries.
But first things first. Civilians like us need to do their ground work (which will take time), that is to develop convincing simulation based models based on advanced mathematics that can absolutely convince Pakistani military the need, urgency and fundamental importance of Advanced A.I., far greater power of abstract mathematical approaches rather than engineering mathematics that they use now, or novel warfare capabilities (e.g. distributed A.I. coupled with dynamical systems theory for simultaneous large scale coordinated attacks etc.) that currently we might think are too much for us to handle. They are not, I repeat absolutely are NOT too much for us to handle. Before this decade ends Pakistan will have them. Even some of us will go back to form such military industry in coming years once our personal fundamental research reaches maturity. That’s inevitable. Not to mention it’s a gold mine, fastest way to become a billionaire.
Such briefing will also have things such as what kind of in house training we need in more abstract mathematics and associated engineering so that after joining Pakistan military research centers people can be trained in more advanced mathematics and sciences to turn them into “super-scientists and engineers”. We need such qualitative edge at our military research centers.
Pakistan has a racial advantage in this regard compared to our eastern side and I will talk on that some other day. NO you can’t edit your genes to become super humans thanks to three fundamental uncertainties among other factors, one namely quantum uncertainty, second deterministic uncertainty that all complex system such as human brain possess, and third interactional uncertainty due to the uncertainties prevalent in the environment we exists in. For now you can just trust me that due to these uncertainties and due to lack of “one to one mapping” at the complex dynamical system level, even if we lets say edit our genes they won't lead to a specific pre-specified brain (no unique one to one mapping from genes to fixed brain structures or uniquely geared large scale neurodyanmics exists). So with edited genes instead of genius, we may end up with an individual who is a psychopath, has weird new “mental illnesses” or is smart in verbal thinking but dumb in abstract thinking, smart but is not creative enough to come up with novel solutions or has other psycho-physiological problems and so on. We may be able to improve certain aspects of intelligence but there are significant limitations. Allah has created a natural order of things. More on that some other day.
The point is, rise of Pakistan has been decided by our Creator and is meant for something and it better do what it came to existence for namely to become truely a long arm of Islam. That is only possible through science and technology while remaining strictly adherent to our fundamental Islamic values. Islam fuels scientific progress since it gives such progress a noble purpose.
I will write some more but please it might a quite a while . Even when you see me answering other PDF post now, realize those are simple answers. You questions things that even though I can answer immediately. In my way of thinking I might end up writing a book. So I need to reduce to answer length and to reduce abstraction (so people other than you can follow it too) and make it into a proper summary and that requires a lot of time. But I will definitely write back something that says more on the topic in a more global context while still gives my own point of view on our regional issues.
For now the point is this: Pakistan can tackle all technical and technologies challenges with a determined, focused and consistent approach towards developing what we think is “the cognitive core” consisting of advanced A.I. embedded in a complex system of system cyber-physical framework and synthesized from more abstract mathematical approaches than used by other people since using far more sophisticated mathematics will give us that edge which we need to drag our enemies into the battlefield and reduce them to ashes.
Technologically advanced and globally assertive Pakistan equipped with home grown A.I. infused sophisticated military technology is going to be the intrinsic "vector of history" shaping world history of things to come.
