December 16, 2014 was a normal Tuesday morning for Pakistanis, but it all changed with a mid-morning terrorist attack on Peshawar Army School. After seven hours of horror the world found that 133 school children and 9 school teachers and staff were left martyred along with nine dead terrorists. The Army’s special operations forces took out all the terrorists who had attacked the school and the collected intelligence that exposed the group that was behind the attack—the TTP. The TTP spokesperson had also proudly claimed the attack on children. The reaction from Pakistanis and the world was of condemnation and disgust. The Pakistani government reacted by removing the moratorium on execution of terrorists on death row. A few of them were hanged in days that followed. In the immediate aftermath of the tragedy, world leaders forcefully condemned the senseless killings. The United States government not only condemned the attacks but also offered to help. That day, President Obama said, “The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms today’s horrific attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar, Pakistan. Our heart and prayers go out to the victims, their families, and loved ones. By targeting students and teachers in this heinous attack, terrorists have once again shown their depravity. We stand with the people of Pakistan, and reiterate the commitment of the United States to support the government of Pakistan in its efforts to combat terrorism and extremis and to promote peace and stability in the region”. The United States and Pakistan have simply refused to bow down to the acts of terror, and our shared resolve and desire to defeat terrorism persuades us to push ahead with our peace mission. We stand with the nation of Pakistan during these testing times; we also fully support their efforts to counter terrorism that stems from extremism and restore peace in the country.

Sorry, but I'm increasingly feeling that nothing has really changed. They got worked up for a few days and now it looks like increasingly business as usual.

Pakistanis are not idiots. They know which side who is on.

Your problem is you think you are at a safe distance. You think no one has enough fire power to eliminate you. Worst of all, you actually think you have an appetite for this war!

Have you ever considered what will happen if anyone so much as took out your gutters? With your cities stinking, what economy will you have? And what will follow?

With 40% of all the jews of the world collected in one neighborhood in the middle of the muslims, do you realize a single -- 'conventional' -- explosive device will be sufficient?

Don't worry about us. We gave Allah the right to take the life that He gave us the moment we became muslims. Whether you actually are ready.....

One is supposed to be having theories about the enemy. Why do you think the defense expenditure to GDP ratio of Pakistan is 33% of yours? Shouldn't we be more concerned for our safety?!
