If America today can't even protect your battleships from being sunk by North Korea
You misunderstood the US role in Korea then. The US is a supporting force that will be taking orders from the Korean Defense Ministry starting in 2015; the primary defensive force is ROK military.
There are two non-US entities that can command US troops in wartime; NATO and the ROK Defense Ministry.
The North Koreans do have some bloodline from the ancient Gaogouli tribes, whereas the South Koreans are genetically pretty much Southeast Asian, which has nothing to do with Gaogouli.
An interesting fact.
The father of former Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo is Abe Shintato, the former foreign minister and a life time parliamentary member. Abe Shintaro always told to people close to him that he was Korean, and this didn't go too well with Abe Shinzo, because his "rightwing" credential is damaged with his father walking around telling everyone he was Korean.
So when did Abe Shintaro's ancestors came from Korea? They didn't. They came to Japan from Balhae(Bohai to you) when it fell in 10th century. Balhae as you may know is the successor state of Koguryo/Gaoguli populated by Koguryo people. Here, you have a documented case of the direct descendants of ethnic Koguryo family from Balhae/Bohai insisting that they were Korean for 1100 years.
The second interesting fact.
Koguryo's official title is Koryo whose capital was Pyongyang, the present day North Korean capital. All contemporary Chinese history books record Koguryo as Koryo. When Pyongyang fell at the end of Koguryo-Tang War, most of residents fled the city and settled 100 km down south. These people would rebuild their old kingdom 160 years later and named it, guess what, Koryo.
Koreans have this inferior complexity among the 2 dominant East Asian cultures
It is actually the other way around; the superiority complex. Which I don't like, but is a part of deep-rooted Korean culture that they are inherently superior to Han Chinese and Japanese.
they are nothing more than tribulatory state
Do you actually understand how the tributary trade system works? It is a form of public trade, where one state gives China goods worth $100 and gets back goods worth $300~400 worth in return, a form of reverse bribery. How did this happen? The Chinese Emperor loses face if he doesn't give back a lot more than what he got.
Say I give you a gift worth $100 to you and you give me back a gift worth $300~400, I would be paying tribute to you every single day! Heck, so called tributes weren't even government financed; it was financed by private merchants who were bribing to win the right to pay tribute to the Chinese emperor, and return home in a boat load of gold and silk.
Know the fact behind history.
