What defines and separates Western civilization above the rants you get from ME is liberal democracy and all that it conveys. Take away liberalism from Western civilization and you have what is just another rant version of what they have in ME. That I am afraid is the problem and non too easy to address.

And making tough decisions requires a certain type of patriarchal society where men are men. I am afraid men in Europe have been emasculated. Feminism has all but destroyed man's vigour. Left and feminism are in cahoots. This fact is not going to be changed and I don't think anybody is able to change back to 19th Century Europe. This is reality. That is why the Islamists are so keen in not letting go of their monopoly. They know they will be relegated to the new world order. Thus what @Markus says I see inconsistancy and contradictions. His Europe is feminism, gay rights and others aspects of liberalism. He decries the Islamists but at the same time complains about aspect of Westernism that separates it from Islamists.

Well it was war and what do fighting men do in war? Of course the Italians are excused of this manly pastime. To be fair the Germans fought like men. No doubt about that.

Btw in my opinion low down people when losing turn on their leaders. Notice the Germans like noble people they are kept fighting until Hitler killed himself.
