Am I the only one who’s glad it didn’t escalate more?
Thinking that only PAF jets achieved lock ons, and IAF escorts didn’t is also not rational. I think both sides showed mutual restraint.

Air to air engagement from either side would definitely be way too drastic at this point.

What most pakistanis and indians dont realize is the elites truly controlling both the nations are living the good life in their respective countries...they have huge bungalows , luxury cars , all the things money can buy and the farthest thing on their mind is a nuclear armageddon...they wont let anything stop their party...be it politicians on our side or the generals on your side...they are buddies with a common interest...i mean when i am riding my bike...other riders tempt me to race...since i am young and i am also tempted to race but on indian roads anything can happen...so its foolish to race on our roads...i resist the temptation by thinking of my girl friend (more of her "assets" than her really)...i tell myself i have to be alive first to see "it" one more time...that brings me to my senses and i dont race even though i really want to...the same thought process is there in the minds of elites that run both india and pakistan...only the motivation is on a scale the ordinary citizens of pakistan and india cant even fathom.
