They were severed in 1967.
That depends on your
interpretation of a poor relationship.
Soviets saw Israel as West's ally and you wanted to march to Damascus! (their ally) needless to say Israel was receiving aids from the West (enemy of the Soviets). Soviet support for Arabs at that time was to prevent U.S. from gaining total control in the middle-east, West already had Iran and Turkey (it was all about the influence and it still is).
No, Russians never supplied anything to Israel, but they gave a HUGE massive support to Arabs since 1955. They even fought for Arabs in war on attrition.
Oh yeah? Then have a look at this:
Arms shipments from Czechoslovakia to Israel 1947
"In addition to the diplomatic support, arms from Czechoslovakia, part of the Soviet bloc, were crucial to Israel in the
1948 Arab-Israeli War. During the war, the Soviet Union supported Israel when it was attacked by Arab countries that opposed the 1947 United Nations General Assembly resolution for the partition of Palestine into a Jewish and an Arab state." Wikipedia
It was Israel that engaged Soviets, they were defending their allies, must I remind you of Rimon 20?
These countries did not even exist until 1991.
Lol... you know why I lol? Because you just wrote that Israel didn't have any relation with Eastern Europe (all of them parts of Soviet union) but now you went back on your words and claim that they didn't even exist?! (if they didn't exist then you couldn't have any relation with them now could you?!)
Anyways, you are wrong, they all "existed long before Soviet union" what you fail to understand is the concept of "union" of Soviet union!
Cooperation is as good if not better.
Nonsense. India voted against partition plan and did not recognize Israel until 1992.
Yes, and we are all living in caves (you might actually believe that) and there is no internet! And I wrote
creation of Israel not partitioning of Palestine!

No, I proved the opposite, read that again very carefully.
"Israeli government extended recognition to the People's Republic of China. United Nations General Assembly Resolution 505, passed on February 1, 1952 considered the Chinese communists to be rebels against the Republic of China..."
"For some time after the 1949 Chinese revolution, the People's Republic of China was diplomatically isolated, because the United States and its allies (
including Israel) recognized the Republic of China (commonly known as
Taiwan) as the true government of
China. During the 1955 Asian–African Conference, China expressed support for the Palestinian right of return, but
refrained from denying Israel's right to exist and secretly pursued trade ties with the Israelis." Wikipedia
Israeli economy is largely based on trade.
I'm sure Israel economy could survive without the Arab market, but anyway that's not the case as many Israelis have shares in almost all Forbes 500 companies which their products end up in Arab markets anyway!
All started very recently thanks to Iranian behavior.
No its not recent at all. It all started with Executive Order 12613 of October 29, 1987 signed by Ronald Reagan.
WHy not, whats the problem.
There are many, but to name a few:
1- Money transfer issues;
2- Almost no Western company deals with Iran directly anymore, so you have to consider the middle-man expenses!
3- Shiping insurance risks and costs, etc...
So they cant even provide a pic for their magic device. Bluff like UAV.
Well, that really shows your lack of confidence in Iranians, but no problem here is a conference presentation (slides) about the experiments that led to the aforementioned device (its 2 years old).

Your nuclear program only creates sanctions for u. U spent on it many billions and tens of additional billions were lost due to sanctions. With money you wasted u could buy private hospital for each Iranian.
On average it costs between 12 to 13 million dollar to build a hospital (its more expensive in Iran because of the sanctions), Iran population is 74.8 million so you're saying we spent
eight hundred ninety-seven trillion, six hundred billion dollar on our nuclear program? Who was your math teacher?
Just show me any sophisticated western weapon in rebel hands. They use russian and chinese missiles against tanks and helicopters actually.

By the way, I provide links from Wikipedia because it summarizes everything not because I don't have other sources. You could find everything by yourself. Srsly how did you become a Biomedical Engineer with your research skills?
West provide money, intelligence, Arabs provide them with weapons money and intelligence.
West prefers a prolonged conflict to weaken both side of the conflict so why give them game changing weapons that could possibly be used against the the West later?
By the way, just to clarify one thing I'm not using the "West" in a derogatory fashion, I prefer to just to use West instead of having to write all the countries names every time!
He is making nuclear program of Iran into a central agenda. If Israel was silent about nuclear issue of Iran everyone would say: even Irael does not care, why should we care?
No one is taking him seriously, it was only because of Ahmadinejad's mistakes that Iran nuclear program became center of attention, all the foundations of Iran's missile and nuclear program were laid long before Ahmadinejad, in Khatami's era Iran had economic growth of 6% by average, despite very low oil prices. Iran became self-sufficient in production of wheat, etc...
Khatami was extremely liberal minded and never threatened Israel but there was talks of Israeli attack against Iran even at that time and during the time he had suspended the uranium enrichment.
