The killing of Hayat Baloch - FC

Post that video here and ask others, the rangers tell each other to shoot him and that's y he was begging. Ur mental level is that since someone is caught stealing or robing and u shoot him? That too when he is caught and not trying to run away. Kick him, out him on ground, cuff him but u justify killing him??? If anyone else did that ull be calling them barbarians, if afghans did it ull be using derogatory terms, if india does it in kashmir u call them animals but when it comes to urself u put a filter on ur brain or i think u just remove ur brain and put crap in there. Nothing can justify that and what was the punishment for rangers??? Its exactly because of ppl like u that the state is hated. Its morons sitting there giving orders n killing ppl that are cause of destruction of states. So do us all a favor and shut ur mouth and stop giving dumb excuses for murder committed on camera and infront of many witnesses. I dont want to argue with u anymore because u seem to lack basic humanity and basic comprehension skills. Yeah trafgic warden killed so now u go on and kill anyone u suspect and then u call others barbaric. Have some shame.

You do not need to reply but I will reiterate:

1) There was use of excessive force. I have not supported what had happened but am pointing to a need for a larger discussion -especially regarding training, use of surplus stock by the police, rangers in civi-areas. I could not find the original SAMAA video but will post this from a similar person who was riled up.

He had updated:
"Unlike the previous link, the following link is more clear with footage that was missing in the previous one. In the following footage you can see the boy, Sarfaraz Shah, moving TOWARDS the Rangers Jawan despite their repeated warnings and instruction to sit but he kept on moving ahead, so much that he nearly pushed the Jawan about five steps and even touched his hands. In any other country this would have happened, the law enforcing agencies would have opened fire on the legs just like it was done in this case. However, the lack of medical help and cold-hearted behavior is unacceptable as ever." (Agreed)

2)You are being a drama queen. I have never stated that the traffic warden's story is any way related to the issue at hand, but a reflection of our decadent society (this is an issue the world over maybe read on cases in Brazilian favellas) Since you said such actions are the reasons behind revolts like the "Arab Springs" Why no calamity befalls nations when the law enforcement comes under attacks -Is it because they signed up for it or big boys should not cry?. The show of force is not a reflection of subjugation/ differentiation so no need to draw parallels with other conflicts. Furthermore, no authority had ordered this but it was an act of individuals.

Since you stated what the punishment was for the Rangers:

Panzer Sb stop thanking me I feel you are on to me. I can only share my experiences as a non-affluent citizen of Karachi. One day some 10 to 12 years ago I was riding a rickshaw to school (Alevels) and at a traffic stop came to the realization that the city was seething. There was so much road rage, people were aggressive, angry and frustrated.

Over the years I have witnessed many incidents: still remember the bomb blast at Abbas town -came out from the mosque after maghrib prayers and suddenly heard a blast and with it felt as if the dusk was reversing back into the dawn. As soon as I heard gun-shots I ran. The security guard of the mosque had fired shots in the air as per his logic to inform that he was alive and everything was fine. The mosque was on the other side of the double road. I have always disliked the presence of a guard but then a couple of children from the madressa of the mosque were killed due to Sunni-Shia fallout. (The mosque is non-political).

Perhaps the most surreal was seeing a road rash teenager (13 to 16 at max) climbing the curb with his motorcycle and suddenly appearing on to the road (and incoming traffic) from amongst the dense foliage lining the avenue. He was hit by Suzuki carry instantly went limp slid down the windshield and was dragged under the tyre -but not over as the driver had applied brakes instantly. The driver's mental breakdown was visible (even though it was not his fault) as he tried to lift the lifeless body up. I saw all this as my rickshaw drove by on my way to work.

There are so many issues plaguing the society I cannot wonder where to start from.

I don’t understand FC organisational structure, why it is under Maj General, but not the part of army.

Home bullies can get away from murders like that but us civilians will pay a heavy price for their actions and will continue to do so.

My aim is not be harsh with u but u seem sensible in other posts and that made me wonder if u put on a filter when it comes to own country. Other than that i have not used any bad words for u.
I have watched that video many times and from no angle it seems he wants to grab the weapon, why didnt they try kicking him or putting him on ground? Instead they were chatting abt shooting him and that made the guy beg them.
My analogy is on spot, such incidents create hatred. PTM thrives on such incidents and gain support. Did u forget when TTP said that drone strikes are actually good as it gives us more support. Funny thing is Pakistan establishment keeps uttering abt hybrid war and yet plays right into it. Seems they just know the word and dont know anything else or how to deal with it. Propaganda is stronger than weapons nowadays.
As for the punishment, ur own link says death penalty converted to life imprisonment, wont be long before they r freed for good conduct, we know too well how justice works in Pakistan.
Ur right when u say excessive force was used, same is the case in many many scenarios that are not reported. I have witnessed use of force for no good reasons on arrmy check posts. Such incidents adds up to the collective memory and an imahe of army is created amomg the masses. There should be strict laws about use of excessive force and the army should be made aware abt hybrid warfare and propaganda and made them realize their single act can damage the state.

QUETTA:
Home Minister Mir Zia Langove has said that Frontier Corps (FC) personnel involved in the murder of innocent Hayat Baloch have been taken into custody and handed over to the police.
The minister added that justice prevailed in the case of Hayat Baloch as killers of the innocent boy were arrested from the crime scene and handed over to the regional police from FC authorities.
“IG FC South met the deceased family and assured solidarity with them. It is not appropriate to blame the entire institution. Security forces have been performing their role with full dedication and devotion in the province.”

Court awards death sentence to FC soldier

A local court in Balochistan has sentenced a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier to death for killing a student. Hayat Baloch was shot dead by FC sepoy Shadiullah on August 13, 2020 after a bomb blast in the area in front of his parents.

Hayat was a BS Physiology student at University of Karachi and was shaking hands with his parents in a palm grove at Absar area of Turbat in Balochistan's Kech district when the incident occurred.

Turbat District and Sessions Judge Rafiq Langau on Wednesday decided the case in the presence of Shadiullah and Hayat's brother Murad Baloch, said Jarin Dashti Advocate, the counsel representing Hayat Baloch's family.

The court sentenced the accused to death after convicting him under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). The parents of the slain student had testified in court, identifying the accused during the identification parade. The accused had also confessed to the crime before a magistrate.

The FC inspector general had visited Hayat Baloch's house after the tragic incident that sparked widespread outrage and had assured the family of justice.

Very good decision of court. Excessive use of force needs to be discouraged. And this can only be enforced by punishing people who exercise power with impunity.

Justice served. Good to see that Judiciary has been making merit based decisions since lawyers movement several years ago. More reforms are needed.

Ya hamare FC or hamare Armed Forces ko badnam krna ke Pakistan dushmano ke sazish ho sakte hain or Pakistan ke awam bashaoor ha or apni fauj or FC ka sath hain...:pakistan:

??

Bhai the FC guy is a criminal. Not everything is a conspiracy!

MOD EDIT: @PanzerKiel has provided the following information in a later post:

First of all, this act was done by FC, not the regular army.... Their chain of command and working is entirely different..... Let's not drag the army into this.....

As far as action is concerned, an internal inquiry is already in progress....

Moreover....
