Now they will most probably burn down the shop of the dealer who sold them the flag. Poor guy most probably didn't have a French flag and since the order was for pronto delivery, he decided to sell them an Italian one thinking "ahh none of these people will know the difference if they got time to burn flags". I guess he also didn't realize the issue would be filmed and would go viral

Those are flags of some religious party whom the protestors belong too and are bein hoisted not burnt (if you have a good eyesight).

Burning a wrong flag equivalent of wrongfully convict someone. I don't know the intend but it seem either sad or funny as the same time. No one killing Muslim for exercise their freedom of expression, why would the Muslim extremist ready to kill someone over the same right?

It's a common mistake. Still, I don't really get why burn a national flag? The symbolism is pointless, as it really does nothing. If you're really angry with France, boycott their products, write to your representatives, express your anger through legal means. These protests and flag burning do nothing but...actually, they literally do nothing.

Charlie Hebdo went from a circulation of 60 thousand to 7 million in a week. If you had just ignored it it would have probably died out within the year, just as Salman Rushdie and the Danish cartoonists would have remained nobodies if there were no threats against them. You never learn.

unless this is old news it could be protests over the NEW cartoons that were released following the terrorist attacks in Paris

those who get offended easily have weak faith...that's the real issue. It takes a stronger person to just ignore or - or at least protest peacefully and use debate & reasoning over violence and throwing stuff (counter-productive)

Words can't never hurt but the stick and stone. Peacefully protest over the war in the middles east where thousand of innocent Muslim being killed, maimed, rapes, serve a much better purpose to end the suffering of the Muslim.
