The Iran accord is going to change everything

I hope a Republican with some balls is elected President. I also hope that President tears up the so called Iran 'deal'. First, Kerry 'negotiated' like an 8 year old. He gave away the farm. Twenty four day notice.....are you fucking kidding me ? And besides, the thing is unenforceable. WHEN Iran cheats, and they will, early and often (actually they already have cheated), sanctions will never be 'snapped back'. If you think Russia, China and the rest of those mooks are going to re-impose sanction you are nuts ! I'm sure Putin has already told Iran the same. Obama and Kerry stabbed the U.S. in the back. They need to be brought up on charges of treason and dereliction of duty.:usflag:
The US has no choice but to accept the deal.

We were one of 7 seven countries at the table, the other 6 are on board with the deal so even if we continue to keep the sanctions intact, who will impose them? It's time to move on.

.
It's a bad deal. No way around that. I would be happy to make countries and companies choose where they want to do business, Iran or the U.S. And no way in hell would I give Iran back the 150 billion dollars. More rockets for Hezbollah ? No way.
Regarding the 150 billion dollars. You don't have it to give it back. It was Iran's money and it is less than that. Almost 37 billion all over the world that is usable.

Regarding the deal, even Israel has concluded that the deal does what it is supposed to. Only hardliners in both Iran and USA oppose the deal. Meanwhile, USA has issues more important in the next 10 years to deal with rather than an Iran which doesn't currently have nuclear weapon program (Based on Rafsanjani interview recently they had the intention but didn't pursue it further but wanted to be nuclear threshold country) . USA has issues with BRICS, China growing military power and Russia to deal with. It is not in USA's best interest to get involved with an Iran which its ambitions and military are exaggerated and is not in position to be any threat to USA or Israel. Khameneie the Iranian supreme leader just recently gave a time frame to his lads for Israel destruction of 25 years. That basically means Israel destruction is not in our agenda for the next 25 years.

Some of his idiot commanders reiterated his lame speech! Basically what Khamaneie inadvertently said is that we are not in position to destroy Israel as we were shouting and need a time off. Telling his followers 15+10 years whichis JCPOA deal time + 10 years of development on it. Basically he see two things: Neither Iran is in power to be a threat now nor would it be able to do anything in 15 years of the deal and nor after it expires.

Reading into all this, the best thing an American president can do is to keep the situation calm so the inner forces in Iran gradually change some factions in the regime towards a moderate and change things on the ground as Iranians usually do. If any threat is done to Iran, just like the Iran-Iraq war the hardliners will ride the tide (at the time on Khomeini and now after Khameneie on someone like Mesbah Yazdi) and it will set back the Iranian movement once again.

For the sake of the region and genuine changes in Iran we need a non threat environment for Iran's democratic movement.

That's the point. Who is going to re-impose sanctions WHEN Iran cheats ? No one, so the deal has no 'teeth'. It's unenforceable. We walk. We go it alone and make the world choose. And NEVER give Iran that kind of money. Watch terror spike if we do.

Israel HAS NOT even come close to accepting the so called 'deal'. Iran has just said they want the money by the end of the year. I say turn the screws. That's what got Iran to the table in the first place. And if we have to go it alone, so be it. Make the world choose what market they want to do business in. The world has had 8 years of dealing with a pussy. They got used to it. I want to change that. :usflag:

You haven't done your research. Here is Ron Paul reporting on Israel Nuclear panel agreeing with the deal:
The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity : Israeli Nuclear Panel Supports Iran Deal

(One of the Republicans I like)

The sanctions alone didn't bring Iran to the table. It was also the fact the sanctions could not be sustained in long run as well. That is what Neo-Cons want you to believe. It started 2.5 years ago when the sanctions didn't have the hard feeling it had recently. Meanwhile it has been shown totalitarian regimes can outmaneuver sanctions on the expense of their population!

If Iran was as evil as it was shown! Then it could have similar income as its oil revenue by just giving a free pass to the drug cartels from Afghanistan to Europe with a Guarantee that they raise the price inside Iran and lower the Iranian consumption. That is only one small income if the regime was up to it. Sanctions wouldn't have worked in long run to achieve its goals. The Nuclear program needed 1 billion annually which they could find under the stone if necessary.

Stop with Ron Paul already. The Israeli P.M. has flown around the world blasting the 'deal'. What will happen WHEN Iran cheats ? Can anyone answer that question ? (Actually, they ALREADY have cheated. Twice, that we know of.)

That is the point Netanyahu played a destructive role with his partisan approach! He could have had more influence if he had played it logically. The opposition parties in Israel blame him for the deal being soft because he poisoned the Israel-US relationship and his view was considered irresponsible and incorrect. He shouted too many times "Wolf" and he was sidelined in all aspects. Netanyahu is not a credible source for this deal in comparison to a whole Nuclear panel which has Israel interest not Likud party in mind.

Now what if Iran cheats?
1st of all it is in Iran's best interest (despite what Iran hardliners think) for the deal to stand at least 3 to 5 years.
2nd there are measures to catch it and it is not easy to cheat.
3rd then the world have legitimate cause for intervention without isolating USA even if we do not believe in snap back approach United states Democrats and Republicans have better argument to deal with Iran. By the way, USA at the time militarily and economically (supposedly) would be at a better place with better tools and information to tackle this problem if necessary.
4th What will Iran gain if it cheats in 15 years? a half cooked nuclear bomb? Why shouldn't they wait and meanwhile expand their economy and know how till the time is ready under the umbrella of the deal! While this deal an dfurther deals after this is in place the regime will be safe from USA and European and UN article 7 assualt. So the deal is nothing they want to cheat now or at least for the next 15 years. Mullahs are masters of PR and survival. They know what is at sake!

I believe your concern should not be if Iran cheats (they wont, it is not in their interest) but the concern would be what after 15 years! If you and your followers are totally against a powerful Iran and fear that it will have too much power to deal with if she suddenly decides too leave the IAEA after 15 years an develop the bomb then that is a concern you should have with any other nation as well. But it is not something you can do anything about it now!

In 15 years things will radically change in middle east or as Khamneie likes to say West Asia!
Oil in Arab peninsula will be at a level were it is not exportable an dfinished at some major oil wells.
Iran, Venezuela and Canada and may be USA will have the oil. The neo COns would at the time arrange their powers differently. Hopefully Iran will be over with Khamneie and the revolutionary type leaders and people have managed to put in 4 presidential elections which one would at least forward their agenda a little further and change the state towards a more moderate one than now. Iran economy would have been growing at 6% pace and it is now big enough for a middle class to thrive even further and avoid any risk in foreign affairs. ...

I don't get it, this deal is incredibly unfavourable to the Iranis. They had to capitulate to you or else face riots in their country due to the oppressive sanctions working away at their economy yet you feel like you lost?!

. . . . .
Who the 'dog' is US?

I don't know point of this thread. You yanks are so lucky that a sheep like Rouhani is president...
I believe in him and I believe he knew what he is doing. In my view the case about this deal its like what happened with UNSC resolution 598 many people resented it but they dare not oppose it because Mr. Khomeini supported it. And then time has shown us that how beneficial it was for us . and incidentally that time also Zarif was the person who made the behind the curtain talk . this time also supreme leader support the deal and I believe every body will see how in 2 to 3 year the benefit of the deal will become clear to anybody.
