It is nauseating to read this over and over and over. FCO says "Islamabad and lahore are not safe due to kidnapping". Are they serious?

How can we stop this non sensical foreign media bull crap from appearing all over the world.

That's true, royals visit is quite a coup. I'm just pointing out it's a long climb with up 2 down 1. Imran Khan's western ways help outside Pakistan and his religious turn help inside.

If you follow travel vlogs on youtube, there is literally a lineup of big travel vloggers that have visited Pakistan recently and others that are currently visiting. They have all posted several videos sharing their experience, and they've all been very positive. It started off with a few vloggers and now I've lost count and the names of all the vloggers.

I have seen most of them and it is awesome, we had never seen such interest before but this western media needs to be controlled somehow

Forbes has been quite favourable to Pakistan. But other media outlets such as CNN, BBC etc still have a vendetta. You can see the tide slowly changing though. These things take time, but you can see a visible difference.

One has to look at official government advisories with a pinch of salt. They will usually err on the side of caution and make most countries appear much more unsafe than they actually are, and this is because they don't want the bad publicity and potential lawsuits if something happens. It's also a political tool. Do you really think Iran is more unsafe than many of the countries they have "avoid all non-essential travel' for? Looking at people who have actually traveled, using actually crime and terrorism data is much more reliable.
