Local time on June 3, 2015, the Indian air force advanced trainer jet crashed in bhubaneswar, about 365 kilometers north of horse cloth han jie county crashed, two pilot security pop-up.

The Indian air force has always been famous for frequent accidents, despite various efforts, but it does not seem to have eased.

Since 2009, the Indian air force planes 54 accident happened, a total of 66 military personnel and six civilians were killed.

BAE Hawks are considered one of the most reliable AJTs of this era.As of now we dont know what actually caused the crash so it would be premature to raise finger on anyone but the fact is that in last few years IAF has not only lost old Mig-21s but even new aircraft like SU-30 MKIs,C-130 and Indegenous Helicopters at a very fast rate.Previously they were blaming delayed inductions and old tech for crashes but when even newer aircraft are crashing at a fast rate then one should be alarmed and find out the reasons behind it.Because if those reasons are not addressed properly and in time then IAF might even say early bye bye to Rafale too.

Its is only 2nd Hawk that crash out of 100 + and with 6 SU 30s crash since it was inducted in 2002.

On the other hand PAF lost on an average one aviation loss per month.

In 2014 PaF aviation Losses

8 till October and IAF 10 and paf has been suffering from this crash problem for many years now.

Crashes raise concern about Pakistani air force - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

How can pakistan afford that as a tiny Air Force ?

Unless it crashed into Chinese border, please move the thread to Central & South Asia section.

possible reason is bird hit.

. .
Bird? really ?

may be as it happened next to a famous bird sanctuary..but we'll know for sure after IAF's inquiry..

by the way,read this....

Bird hits are another huge factor in aircraft accidents over India. The IAF attributes around 10 per cent of accidents to bird hits. Most IAF bases are located near populated areas, where birds are a constant menace.

The situation has got so dire that the IAF last year issued global bids to four companies for 45 bird detection and monitoring radar systems to be installed at airports and air bases across India.
