But its true that India was never a nations. Its a geographical location consists of various kingdoms through out its history. For example, if India conquer France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain and make it a single colony, and this colony declare independent as a country call Europe with each state has their own language and culture, that does not make Europe a single country before the Indian colonization. Now, just switch the names around and you will see the reality.

Right............ But what's your point?

In China More Than 30 Million People Live in Eco-Friendly Caves | Inhabitat - Sustainable Design Innovation, Eco Architecture, Green Building

Now what about the 700 million Indians who defecate out in the open? :azn: And who rub that stuff all over the walls of the Commonwealth games housing?

I can really see the tree huggers here in the US try to duplicate this in the Pacific NorthWest.

A basic one-bedroom cave without plumbing rents for about $30 a month. A cave with three bedrooms and a bathroom might sell for $46,000, the Times reported.

Without plumbing you say!!:cheesy:

Lets see the spin cave dwellers on this forum try to put on that fact. :bunny:

You do realize that the concept of a nation-state only came about during the Napoleonic era. Before that, the entire planet was a series of kingdoms - some big, some small.

Err - that doesn't sound very good for Chinese villas and "posh" apartments.

I take it you haven't seen the recent British film about the "Mumbai millionaire"? It's the most popular "Indian" film in the world, and it shows India as nothing but slums.

I thought only Osama and Batman live in caves. You have 30 million of your citizens living in caves.

What do you think about 700 million Indians who defecate in the open then?

How relaxing it must be, instead of finding a toilet, they just pull down their pants and drop a load in the middle of the road. Or on the floor of the Commonwealth games housing.

“Caves in our village are as comfortable as posh apartments in the city.”

Goodnesss .... it's a pity to worry about the 30 million who live in "caves".

Above it's being claimed that the "posh apartments" in chinese cities are just like caves !!!!

Hell.... and what happens to all the ghost cities !!!!!

Chinese Paradox: People live in Caves, and Ghosts live in Ghost cities

Why doesn't CPC make those "ghost cities" for cave dweellers ... and perhaps for those living in "posh apartments" in the city.

Are you guys planning to rent those ghost cities to Americans and Europeans ?? Damn ... chinese are stupider than I thought they were.

The point is that India never existed as a country. It existed as a civilization and has a native religion. But the nation of India is a British invention. And India has to thank the British for conquer the whole country. Because if Britain was not able to remove all other European competitors by late 1700s, than India would be split up into many nation states like Africa.

They are already defending it. 30 millions people in caves...

Modern nation states come from medieval kingdoms. Such as France, England, and Spain. But India has many kingdoms that was united by British. So Britain created modern India. So as a commonwealth country, India might as continue to recognize the British queen as the head of the state as they created India.

Did you see an edited version - because from I remember - the kids' slum were replaced by high rises when he is 18. Perhaps, the Chinese state media did not show you the full version. It is okay.

Defecation in the open is mostly done so that the Chinese citizens from Tibet who seek refuge in India can be given some jobs and this also ensures that they don't feel homesick.

The most powerful person in India is actually a white European.

Back in Italy she was just a waitress. But she came to India and immediately became the most powerful person in the country. According to the Forbes most powerful people ranking, the two most powerful people in India are Sonia... and her son.

Nope, the British monarch is Head of State of the Commonwealth Realms, not of the Commonwealth of Nations. Countries like India and Pakistan have Presidents.
