Don't be a simpleton. The two groups have vastly different ideologies. Because I agree with the ideology of one group does not mean I agree with the ideology of all groups...regardless of whether you regard them to be similar or not. And the Haqqanis are freedom fighters not terrorists. Learn the difference.

I am talking about the Haqqanis fighting the US and their allies in Afghanistan. I doubt that the Haqqanis ever attacked Pakistan. Please note that I differentiate between the Taliban fighting in Afghanistan and the TTP of Pakistan.

Here is the simple view
TTP works in Pakistan against Pakistan and supported by Afghan as well as Indian secret agencies.
Afghan Taliban works in Afghanistan and belong to Afghanistan, do not interfere in Pakistan business.
Haqqanis works in Afghanistan and belongs to Pakistan as well as Afghanistan and are supported by pro Pakistan forces (not going to mention the names) and do not spread terrorism in Pakistan and commonly confused as allay of TTP. They are ''apne loog'' kind of.
Alqaeda is global organization composing of militants from every country and they also operate in every country including Pakistan.

They want Pakistan - a wahaabi, Shariah-ised Pakistan with a caliph and mullahs running the show. They want to bring freedom to all Pakistani's - the wahaabi kind of freedom.
